Lampard achieved his GCSE's in the 90s, think...

All I'm saying is, due to his GCSE results, there is no reason to doubt his alleged IQ. Granted that effort can go a long way, but you still need to have your wits about you to get A* in Latin in particular, and don't forget he had footballing commitments at the time too.

I don't see how anyone can question the validity of his IQ when his interviews and GCSE results more than indicate a high level of intelligence.

Seriously, Frank Lampard is an absolute legend of the game. He needs to be recognised in some way eg. Frank Lampard OBE, Sir Frank Lampard or some kind of lifetime achievement award.

Im not sure his interviews do that much mate. He seems smartish for a footballer, its not like he goes into quantum physics in his interviews. He probably is a genius TBF but hes still a fat bastard!

Latin is ridiculously difficult and boring, did you really get an A* because you never mentioned it before?

Regardless, you are very clever

Yeah i did, why would i mention it before though? The only reason i did was because I was just trying to express that Lampard's achievement wasn't that great.

Because A* in Latin has already been mentioned before.

So you enjoyed Latin then? I thought it was shit.

I enjoyed like the contextual stuff when we talked about the Roman world, the language was a pain in the arse to learn though - i was down to do Spanish but switched at the last minute cos I did well in my Year 9 Latin exam, i really regret that. :greatpost:

What were you CAT scores? That's more IQ-based.

Boys, we all know GCSE's count for shit. Many people at my school are dumb shits yet managed to acheive at least 5 A+'s due to outstanding teaching and work ethic. IQ tests are the way forward. Thoughts elcule??

I am as bright and switched-on as they come but my GCSE results were pretty average. I don't think no revision helped though.

We did CAT tests in year 9...hours of multiple choice questions about English, mental arithmatic, and shapes...it's more linked to general intelligence and IQ...you didn't do them?

Would the fact you did better in the CATs have anything to do with the claims of them being more reliable? lol
