Yeh, to be fair, you do deserve a mention, but not a premature wankfest quite yet.

United never got to may in sight of the Treble this century, but that's because our CL Semi-final second leg was played in April, so there.

Seriously, Frank Lampard is an absolute legend of the game. He needs to be recognised in some way eg. Frank Lampard OBE, Sir Frank Lampard or some kind of lifetime achievement award.

Greatest ownage machine: Scholes. Absolute animal when he was a regular poster, I always knew I was in the right when he was backing me up, and I couldn't wait to read a topic that he was posting in because I knew he'd be tearing someone apart

Winner.

i thought the thread was called 'greatest season by any club team ever' not 'team that plays the most beautiful football'.

when i see the title of the thread i think of trophies and winning games.who cares if the invincibles played lovely ootball,at the end of the day all they won was the league.united won the prem,fa cup and champions league in the one season.imo thats miles better than going a season unbeaten just to win one trophy

La Liga is already in the bag

The fact they are about to add Ribery and Villa in the summer suggests to me that this team could go on and be one of if not the best team in history providing they can keep on winning for several years.

Ribery and Villa, whilst being better players than Henry and Eto'o, I think will disrupt the team slightly and will take a year or two to start clicking, just as Henry did. You can't just walk into a team like Barca and play their kinda football without a lot of practice.

No he doesn't, not at all. The greatest Celtic sides of this generation would be sheer midtable in the PL.

I'd say he was talking about the 1966/67 celtic side

I'd say he's defo talkin' about that side. Only team to have ever done the quadruple. Ant will disregard that though because it was "before football was any good", in fact he'll probably tell everyone how he'd of gotten into the team!
