invincibles played better football than barcelona this season... ok then
Dude, your clueless if you think that. Invincibles played intricate, pacey, quick football. Barca can only boast one of the 3.
They can boast all three ffs. They're the most intricate team on the planet with their passing patterns round the box, pacey and quick are the same thing, and I swear there's some bloke called Messi who's abit of a livewire, and Henry and Eto'o are proper quick. I'm not saying either way, but Barca patently do boast those qualities

Barca play intricate, pacey quick football as well, don't see how you can claim otherwise to be honest. I don't think i've seen any team play the sort of football barca played last night, it was breathtaking to be honest

If Man Utd went unbeaten a whole season and played amazing football all season this would be a 20 page wankfest from the United fans...

I understand where DaGunners is coming from Artrun. Barca, while playing a far more intricate brand of football than the Invincibles, do not by any stretch play quick, pacey football. All too often when watching Barca, you will notice that excellent passers of the ball, such as Xavi, will sacrifice a counter-attacking opportunity in order to build a move or set up the play. That's not to say it isn't good football mind, it's just not fast in the way that United's (pre-Berbatov) or AC Milan's is on occasions.

Well they didn't so we'll have to settle for a 30 page wankfest from the Gooners. :D

What is this bullshit about the quality of football being a predicate of a successful season? The quality of football is merely a means to an end. Chelsea's season where they broke the Premiership points record was equally successful as Arsenal's season in my view despite playing an ugly brand of football characterised by bullies like Terry and Essien.

Winner.

yeah because going a whole season unbeaten and winning only the league doesnt compare with winning the premier league, fa cup and CL in the same season beating some of the best teams in the world in dramatic fashion

how dare we try to put arsenals season into context

Is that opposed to someone who doesn't even support arsenal turning their unbeaten season into a wankfest :deepthought:

Arsenals invincible season was an amazing achievement and will never be replicated imo, but uniteds treble winning season was better and personally this barca side play better football

He couldn't keep up.

We've scored plenty on the break, but that's the first of our 100 league goals that came to mind.

What did you think of Master Hernadez' performance last night?

Man Utds treble season was the greatest in terms of the trophies they won but they had a lot of luck that season

FA Cup- Had Bergknamp scored that pen in the 90th minute United would have gone out and may have won nothing

CL- They were destroyed by Bayern all game but scored 2 goals in the 90th mins

Premierleague- Won it on last day of the season by a point after Tottenham decided they dont want Arsenal to win the league

If Barcelona win the treble they will be the greatest side ever and I can see people talking about this side in 50 years time.
