Nik B is the next super striker, everybody knows that. DaG overrates Wrighty something rotten. He was a great striker but not world class. |

Didn't you say "club level"? Cole had a great record at Newcastle and I think he's the 2nd highest PL goalscorer, so at club level I can assure you Wright's record does not "piss" on Cole's. I bet Cole has scored more goals at club level overall too. That's probably why you changed from "club level" to "at Arsenal"

I love it when Pato gets praise. It's hard to say who will go on to become the world's next big thing, at the moment you'd say the 3 main candidates are Pato, Benzema and Aguero, but who knows what will happen. My odds are stacked on Pato though, he just seems to have it all as a striker and at such a young age, things will only get better. Milan have a bright future ahead of them. |

Rooney is 23, if he can't be considered young then neither can Fabregas, as he's just a year younger (remember Rooney was 22 at the beggining of the season). |

Wayne Rooney has the potential, he's already well up there. There have been some great strikers down the years, from Puskas to Pele to Ronaldo to Henry to Shola Ambeobi. These were the elite players. |

Too true. The best Rooney can ever hope for is to be in the shadow of Pato, and that's a massive compliment to Rooney, as he's nowhere near Pato's shadows yet. |

Until Pato contributes heavily to a title race or more importantly, produces on the European stage, he will be in Rooney's shadow. |

Pato is only 20 so he cant be in the same boat as Rooney but personally from what I have seen from watching him play for Milan and Brazil he looks a more complete player than Rooney. |

Give it a rest DaGunners, he's obviously a great talent, but Scholes is right - he'll have to perform on the big stage to cement his position among the top 20 or so players in the world. If he carries on like this next season and Milan win something, I'd agree with you that he'd be better than Rooney. |

He's already definitely top 5. Winning has fvck all to do with how good a single player is. Pato is lighting up the Serie A week in week out. |
