Carlos Tevez has again revealed that his future with Premier League giants Manchester United is far from certain. He has hinted that he may well seek a move away from the club at the end of the season. The Argentina international's two-year loan spell at Old Trafford is set to expire this summer and, although manager Alex Ferguson has said that the club are keen to keep him, they are yet to agree a deal to buy his economic rights. Furthermore, it seems that ‘El Apache’ has grown frustrated with his limited playing time since the arrival of Dimitar Berbatov from Tottenham Hotspur. The 25-year-old stocky striker has expressed his preference to ply his trade in Spain should he leave the Red Devils, although he has said that he does not favour any particular club. "It's true, I've spent a lot of time on the bench and I'd like to play more. But every time I'm given a chance I do all I can to do well and take full advantage," Tevez told Cadena COPE. "It's true I see myself more leaving United than staying here. "I don't see why I should lie to people or anything because the fans support me a lot as you can see. So I don't have any reason to lie to them. "While I wear the United shirt I will leave my life on the pitch. You can see that in every game I play. I respect people a lot and I'm grateful to them. "My future? I don't know what will happen in my future. I would like to go to Spain, yes, but I don't know yet. "I have no preference for a team . . . we'll see. "With respect to the fans and the history of Manchester United, I don't want to leave the club. But from a personal aspect, my exit will be the best solution. "I need continuity in the team to offer my best. If this doesn't happen, I believe this will be my last year." |

when tevez plays i think united play better as shown on wednesday and at the weekend against spurs but if saf is going to keep him on the bench for no reason then imo he should leave to save his own career, i would hate to see him go but he has no other choice unless he is assured of more appearances/chances next season |

Exactly..we play with so much urgency and nice footy being on deck. If he leaves and we don't bring in someone with experience we are doomed because Berbatoss and Rooney is not going to cut it for a whole season imo. |

I suspect that another striker will be coming in if this is the case. Fergie must have a signing in mind, otherwise I can't see him allowing Tevez to leave. |

he might have faith in welbeck and macheda, the latter seems like a huge prospect imo or he might fancy bringing rossi back and sending those two on loan |

Neither Welbeck or Macheda are good enough for Fergie to be taking gambles on yet. We're probably still short on a striker atm and I'd say there's zero chance Fergie will let Tevez go and leave Berbatov & Rooney there with two kids as back-ups, it's suicidal IMO. Fair enough they are good prospects and Macheda has already got the physique to handle games in the PL against tough defenders but he's not good enough for Fergie to rely on as our 3rd striker. Young players are a bonus in the squad, it refreshing to see them get games but until they're the real deal, then I see no reason why such expectancy should be placed on their shoulders. Welbeck will probably go on loan next season anyways, Macheda bonus striker, if Tevez goes, he'll be replaced with someone who's able for a full season of top flight football and all the pressures that come with it. I can see Manucho staying wit us next season maybe because he offers a different option up front. Rooney, Berbatov, Manucho, Macheda and possibly another striker/Tevez is likely to be what we have up front next season. |

I haven't heard any mention of Frazier Campbell on this thread, wasn't he supposed to be coming back to United next season and pushing for the starting line up? |

No, no, no! Campbell will not be a starter at Utd for me. |
