United's defence would sit deep, back off and not allow Vela and Walcott to ever get in behind. Rio and Vidic are far too good to let two short pacemen get the better of them like that. You need a balance up front, a target man who makes the defence scared of dropping too deep, and a pace man to stop the defence from pushing too high. Ade and Walcott I want.
Ade is a static target man with poor movement. Vidic will destroy him. With Walcott and Vela we have one player who is brilliant off the ball, and one player who has very good close control and is pretty good off the ball. If United sit back that plays right into our hands; a 1-0 will do us fine.
I am soft.
