Adebayor can only do his stuff if he has support.
Why not just play another striker?

Diaby is a double negative. We lose quality both defensively and going forward with him in the team.
Diaby was quality before he got injured again. He comes back after a few weeks out against a tough Chelsea midfield and has a bad game. Big fucking deal. He'll be owning again in no time like he was before his latest injury.

But if Denilson plays DaG, Cesc will end up in the AM role. That's just the way it is.
Who ever said Denilson "has" to play? And even if he does, that should NEVER mean Cesc in AM. It all comes down to whether or not Wenger has the nut sack. Its really that simple Triggle.

Oh yeah. Who bailed us out against Everton and Newcastle when it looked like things weren't gonna go our way? Diaby.

Denilson and Cesc in the centre on their own will be suicidal. As i said before, Song and Cesc may be ok, but if Wenger goes for three in there it has to be Diaby in the AM position.

Worked against United earlier this season. If Wenger does his end of the job it will work fine. But if he goes out of his way to stifle both, of course it will fail.

Wenger is what is holding us back at the moment.

Cesc Fabregas 6.5 His assist for Nasri's second was worth the admission price alone. Was crafty and showed guile but like his midfield colleagues, surrendered the ball all too often.

Denilson 6.0 Arsenal were a little soft at the core of midfield this afternoon as United turned possession over time and again. The Brazilian could have done more to prevent the blue march but showed some nice passing himself at times.

Abou Diaby 7.5 Mr Versatile; Diaby played as a second striker, a third midfielder and occasionally, a third central defender. Exuded calm in possession and is gathering assuredness by the day.

DaG you've been owned.

Oh dear Triggle, I never thought you were that stupid.

FFS Van Persie got a 10 for his performance against Hull City.

Triggle today: EPIC FAIL

Denilson: 7 - Bizarre match from him. In the first half, he was superb but faded away in the second as he was called into a more defensive position.
Fabregas: 6 - Gave away possession so many times - he’s the shadow of himself.
Nasri: 9 - Shall I say more?
Diaby: 7 - I liked his performance, very solid and calm.

Diaby has to play because he was our best player back in November when the sides clashed. Diaby must play behind Ade if we are to have any chance.

Homer, I see watching matches blind folded is the new fad.

Gallas was by far our best player that day.

I don't remember specific performances from the game in question, but using player ratings to illustrate a point isn't that credible tbh, it's all very subjective.

Winner.

Me and Homer know the score. Wenger WILL play a 4-5-1 at OT and Diaby's the man who HAS to play behind Adebayor unless Nasri plays there and somebody else gets plonked on the left wing.

Ok DaG, who are you going to play behind Ade in the 4-5-1 which Wenger WILL play.
