Almunia, Djourou, and Adebayor will all be back. Huge boost for us. Djourou is infinitely better than Silvestre, and Adebayor's work rate will definitely be needed against United's central defenders. But the million dollar question is, does Wenger pussy out again and play Cesc in attack with Van Persie injured, or does he grow a pair and start Eduardo? Playing Cesc in attack not only weakens his performance and our attack, but also weakens our midfield and team as a whole. This decision will decide the tie in my opinion. If we go 442 we go through. If we go 451 we go home.

Seriously, Frank Lampard is an absolute legend of the game. He needs to be recognised in some way eg. Frank Lampard OBE, Sir Frank Lampard or some kind of lifetime achievement award.

Greatest ownage machine: Scholes. Absolute animal when he was a regular poster, I always knew I was in the right when he was backing me up, and I couldn't wait to read a topic that he was posting in because I knew he'd be tearing someone apart

We beat them already this season with a 4-5-1 so why not again DaG?

Because you have far more chance with a 4-4-2. You've seen how ineffective Fabregas has been in the AM role, and like DaG said, it means you have to pick someone else shit at CM to cover for him. United's midfield won't dominate against you anyway imo, its not like Chelsea where Wenger felt he had to go 4-2-3-1 to match them in fear of being overwhelmed.

................Almunia
Sagna....Toure....Djourou....Gibbs (when's Clichy back?)
Walcott..Denilson...Fabregas..Nasri
..........Adebayor...Eduardo

Maybe Song over Denilson at OT.

That team stands a great chance.

Winner.

Eduardo isn't even close to being ready to play at OT, he'll go 4-5-1 and he doesn't really have any other option

And how do you know that?

If that's true, play Theo up front, Nasri wide right, and Vela on the left.

Look it the performance he gave against Roma, and he's barely played since then. Throwing him back in in a match like that is suicide

Yep. Far better option wide than Eboue, or anyone else in the squad. At least he will try and run at players, and the last time he played on the wing for us he was very good. (Cardiff at home)

Cardiff at home, United away. hmm.

You've started to lose the plot of late dude. All over the place with your opinions on players and formations.

Denilson needs to be dropped, he's fucked. Song and Cesc are the best central pair right now, and if we need to play a 4-5-1 then Diaby or Nasri should be the AM.

Almunia
Sagna Toure Djourou Clichy
Cesc Song
Walcott Diaby Nasri
Ade

OR

Almunia
Sagna Toure Djourou Clichy
Eboue Song Cesc Nasri
Walcott Ade

He's a powerhouse who will give United's relatively pussy midfield a lot to think about.

All any player has to do to completely nullify Diaby is press him. He takes ages on the ball. Shit player who is overrated physically.
