According to this, Tevez isn't happy at Manu. He wants regular games to make sure he's in the international set up with the World Cup approaching. Will he leave? Where will he go? Is Fergie making a mistake with not being overly keen to get him signed on to a new contract?

If the fee stands at £30m+ well I can't see us buying him and Fergie must have doubts about him because he would have given the go-ahead by now.

Ship him out and sign an out and out striker to give us another option. He should go to Italy.

Sort your avatar out mate.

Seriously, Frank Lampard is an absolute legend of the game. He needs to be recognised in some way eg. Frank Lampard OBE, Sir Frank Lampard or some kind of lifetime achievement award.

Greatest ownage machine: Scholes. Absolute animal when he was a regular poster, I always knew I was in the right when he was backing me up, and I couldn't wait to read a topic that he was posting in because I knew he'd be tearing someone apart

If his price stays the same this summer (£20m for United or £30m for anyone else), I can't see anyone realistically buying him, he just isn't worth that much cash.

The dilemna is quite clear though: Fergie can't just let him go and rely on Berba, Rooney, Ronaldo to stay fit. We just don't have another good attacking substitute in our squad. Having someone like Tevez to bring off the bench has been a real asset this year for us, but it's clear that he wants regular first team football. If Tevez left, we would have to buy a reasonable attacker that wouldn't break the bank, or we could drop Berbatov and put Rooney and Ronaldo up front, changing our team set up and practically forcing us to play Nani every week, which at the moment, I don't think would work.

I think Ronaldo could be a truly great striker tbh and if we were to put him up front and replace him on the wing with Ribery, well that's a stronger team without a doubt in my mind.

Ronaldo possesses pretty much everything a striker needs to be a hit.

Yh I agree with all you say, but I'm not sure how easy it would be to secure Ribery. Ronaldo has played up front a few times this season, and alot more freqeuntly last season, and TBH I thought he was more effective there than on the wing where he just doesn't seem to go past players as much.

Since last season when his finishing capabilities were very apparent, I have asked myself why he doesn't play there regularly.

Ribery could be bought, in media stories I hear (true or not I don't kno) he seems to say Utd and Barcelona are "special clubs" so if we're to believe that, he would be keen on joining possibly. And IMO he's a superior WINGER than Ronaldo.

I would absolutely love that. One problem. Will Ronaldo be here next season?

I need to see more of Ribery to agree with that to be fair. The majority of Ronaldo's goals last season (that weren't from dead ball situations) came from either tap-ins, headers, or shots from just outside the box, which suggests that he has natural instincts as a striker. It just seems a no-brainer to play him there more. Thing is, with Berbatov masquerading as a CF Fergie will never play Ronaldo their as he's spent £30m on the guy.

Artrun: yes he will be here next season. If we didn't let him go last summer, I can't see it happening this summer when the speculation has been far less intense - as of yet...

I think he will to be honest. He seems to be responding to rumours by saying he's happy here and wants to stay next season which is more than he ever said before. And if I'm being honest, with us winning trophies and Real Madrid being a shambles as always, he would be best off staying here while he's developing still.

I think if Ronaldo leaves and considering he is our main goalscorer AND winger, we would need to replace him with two players! Ribery and a goalscorer, Rooney I think is someone who COULD score 30 in all competitions and that's what you need from a striker. If he can do that well then we might not need another striker, if he can't become consistent, well we do need one IMO.

If Ronaldo played up front, would Fergie risk another £30m or would he give Nani a go?

I'm not so sure. I'm not too sure about Nani personally and I think being in the same team as where Ronaldo has made his name is detrimental to him. One one hand I think if Lyon, Roma, Bayern or a club like that offered 15m for him while he still has potential, Fergie would seriously consider selling him. But on the other hand I'm not so sure Fergie would sell a player the club payed so much money for after just 2 seasons.

I think he would be happy to let him see out his contract and then decide whther he is worth it or not, but if he thinks he isn't quite up to it, he won't risk making us weaker just for Nani's sake.

Fergie has long admired Benzema, but I'm still not sure if he'd spend £30m this summer having spent £17m already in Jan and £30m on Berba last summer.
