Seriously, Frank Lampard is an absolute legend of the game. He needs to be recognised in some way eg. Frank Lampard OBE, Sir Frank Lampard or some kind of lifetime achievement award.

Greatest ownage machine: Scholes. Absolute animal when he was a regular poster, I always knew I was in the right when he was backing me up, and I couldn't wait to read a topic that he was posting in because I knew he'd be tearing someone apart

Holland 2-3 Czech Rep. @ Euro2004.

This game was a feast for a football fan. blistering start by Holland. Bouma I think opened the scoring with a bullet header and RvN I think double their lead but then came the comeback from the Czech's, it was amazing stuff and class football throughout. I remember Nedved hitting the crossbar with a 35yd effort that must've broken the sound barrier he hit it that hard!

What. A. Game.

It was thrilling stuff!! It's a wonder it stayed at 2-3 really, I think all the goals were scored before say 70mins and it was just relentless attacking football from start to finish. I was a complete neutral aswell so it was easy to just sit back and enjoy.

YES!!!!! OMMMMGGGG I loved that game, it was incredible. I'm so glad you reminded me of that game. That whole group stage in Euro 2004 was brilliant, I remember the Germany vs Holland game that ended 1-1 was one of the best games I've ever seen too, and it was only 1-1, the quality was just that good.

Out of the above, Liverpool 4-3 Newcastle was just an incredible game. I had no affiliation to either side but it had me on the edge of my seat, from start to finish.

Last summer, Holland v Italy was incredible. The 3rd goal following from Van der Sar's stunning save from Pirlo's freekick = intense. Apparently the Holland v France game was even better.

Liverpool vs Milan 05 wasn't that good, was just a cracking comeback (Although undeserved). The general stndard of football wasn't that brilliant barring Crespo's 2nd. That pass from Kaka still makes me salivate.

From my perspective, Chelsea 4-4 Liverpool was the perfect game. We will look back on it in years to come wit great nostalga.

A lot of the matches mentioned thus far never bordered on the 'totally unbelievable'. When Dirk Kuyt scored that bullet header, that game had real potential to be the greatest come-back of all time.
