Having just switched off ITV4 after a great City performance, again I'm left wondering why the sky blues are languishing in midtable. Robinho looked like an absolute superstar tonight. I regularly found myself thinking that this guy should be up there with Ronaldo and Messi tonight, and it was the same when I saw him at the Emirates for Brazil. His touch was sublime, his strength in holding players off was surprisingly good, his running both infield and down the wing was intense, and to cap it all, his link-up play around the penalty box was probably the best I've seen this season. This boy clearly has the talent to be up there with the very, very best. And tonight for me showed that he has the hunger back in his game to monopolise such talent. Clearly he has a downside, but I really think that with a move to a big club, he could overcome his negatives and become a world-beater. |

He was merely good tonight, no need to hurl superlatives at him after the year he's had thus far. Him and Elano were relatively good whilst Caceido played like a fucking donkey. So clumsy it makes me sick. |

Yh he tailed off a bit after the City surge from 45mins to about 75mins. Still had some nice touches and created a lot of chances. Far from wank! |

Elano was at the heart of absolutely everything tonight, everytime he got anywhere near the ball City created something. Robinho was good too, but Elano put in a sensational performance |

He lacks motivation, once a few bigger players get here and we start winning more games he'll be well up for it and will fill his potential, which is one of the best players in the world. Elano was brilliant tonight, so unlucky not to score twice. Kompany dominated, with DJ next to him we really do look strong, and we missed DJ throughout the tie. Right now I wouldn't complain if every player bar Given, Kompany, Robinho and Sturridge were sold. |

Didn't think Robinho was that good. Certainly not nowhere near as good as he used to be with Madrid. |

Robinho is just behind those 3 elite superstars but other than that he is up there with the best and technically he is as good if not better then anyone in the premierleague. |
