Had Liverpool started with Babel/Riera they would have won. They needed more attackers when Chelsea where faltering.
Spot on  He should have started Riera and not Benayoun

Benayoun is starting to show everyone why Liverpool signed him. Such an intelligent footballer.
Scholes

Seriously, Frank Lampard is an absolute legend of the game. He needs to be recognised in some way eg. Frank Lampard OBE, Sir Frank Lampard or some kind of lifetime achievement award.

Greatest ownage machine: Scholes. Absolute animal when he was a regular poster, I always knew I was in the right when he was backing me up, and I couldn't wait to read a topic that he was posting in because I knew he'd be tearing someone apart

Riera of late hasnt been very fit. Benayoun did a very good job tonight and I can see why Rafa chose him over Riera. Riera was very effective though when he came on.

Like Scholes said, Benayoun is such an intelligant player.

I wanted a player with dribbling ability and pace rather than intelligence and clever passing.

Chelsea will be absolutely humiliated by Barca....I have never been as proud to be a liverpool fan apart from istanbul then i was last night, without gerrard, we gave it our all , torres didnt have a great game, so it was the rest of the team that shined through, our midfield were magnificent, Alonso was classy in the first half.. completely Annihilating Lampard..i was stunned when we got the penalty , i couldnt speak, i thought skrtel had just missed from 2 yards out.. i couldnt believe it then i saw we got the penalty, i didnt celebrate , i was in complete shock...i thought, OMG we are actually doing it.. i knew the 2nd half would be tougher, as Hiddink would Get into them at half time.. Clive Tyldsley Deserves to be shot for his commentary last night.. When chelsea were 3-2 up, him saying we were out , and finished , and chelsea are DEFINATELY through... lucas and Dirk Kuyt made him look like a right twat when they put us in the lead.. I muted the commentary after that and played the rocky music through my computer..... It didnt work.. :(

Alonso can leave with his head held high. Consistent throughout the 90 mins, winning plenty of the ball and involved in everything Liverpool did well. Played Lampard off the pitch. Frank was very poor besides the two goals. Liverpool completely overran the midfield, but when they didn't get the third in the 1st half or early in the second I just knew that luck Hiddink would get his way. Anelka made all the difference, he murdered Arbeloa and Skrtel was shocking. Carragher was solid as usual.

HOLY FUCKING SHIT I JUST REALIZED BARCA PLAYED A GAME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
