At 31 years of age with over 560 appearances for Liverpool, Carragher is a hero on Merseyside. He has been a top class centre-back in the last couple of years, but has he always been so good? Do you rate him?

How good a career has he had?

Seriously, Frank Lampard is an absolute legend of the game. He needs to be recognised in some way eg. Frank Lampard OBE, Sir Frank Lampard or some kind of lifetime achievement award.

Greatest ownage machine: Scholes. Absolute animal when he was a regular poster, I always knew I was in the right when he was backing me up, and I couldn't wait to read a topic that he was posting in because I knew he'd be tearing someone apart

Brilliant career, brilliant defender. Has everything you look for in a defender: quick brain, proactive, strong, reads the game very well, and is good in the tackle. Very smart guy too.

But he's a fucking cvnt who thinks he is a gangster ordering hits on people from his mansion. Disgrace.

Jamie Carragher started his career off when Liverpool were an average team so it made it easier for him to get in the side but having said that lets not take anything away from the bloke who is only 1 of 2 scousers playing for Liverpool. He has been a real rock at the back for Liverpool and he has won every single trophy apart from the premierleague which tells you how successful he has been and im sure by the time he retires he will have tons more to his name. He is a great reader of the game and personally I think he should have had far more England caps but it wasnt to be. Great player.

Proactive?

Just say 'alert' or 'aware' or 'anticipatory'.

No, proactive is the correct word. Someone who gives out and wins the ball instead of those who wait and react.

Why is that significant? How many Londoners play for Arsenal?

And, proactive is exactly how i'd describe Carragher.

Winner.

Bollocks.

And you're still avoiding my question about why it's significant.

Go easy on him for Christ sake. A lot of his points are insignificised :hysterics: but it's something we should all be used to :wipeee:
