Ok Moe, thanks for telling me. Don't worry, just make your pick tomorrow night.

Seriously, Frank Lampard is an absolute legend of the game. He needs to be recognised in some way eg. Frank Lampard OBE, Sir Frank Lampard or some kind of lifetime achievement award.

Greatest ownage machine: Scholes. Absolute animal when he was a regular poster, I always knew I was in the right when he was backing me up, and I couldn't wait to read a topic that he was posting in because I knew he'd be tearing someone apart

Sorry Stu! He was who i was talking about when you PM'd me. Was going to opt for a striker instead but changed my mind at last second. Mainly because there's no strikers left in the same class as Laudrup was.

Essien - A current player but a good choice!

I figured as much but was hoping that you would go for a striker. I was PMing Ant earlier and said he was my next pick.

Essien eh? Not a fan of that pick. Very good player, but there are better CMs availiable, even some current CMs that are better...

Depends on who your other player is in CM with him, but it seems a good pick to me. I'd say that now he's as important as Lampard to Chelsea, but not when Lamps was in his pomp.

Winner.

Lampard is a Chelsea legend mate.

Essien was a good pick in all fairness, like Ant said, current players tend to get overlooked.

Essien is a box-to-box player but is indeed adept defensively. Everyone rates him very highly so I wouldn't say he was 'overlooked'. I remember when he had a reputation for dangerous tackling...not sure how but it's somehow escaped him :deepthought:
