Oi I'll sort you out you fucking cvnt you get angry so easy
He's only quoting his favourite movie, not actually getting pissed off with you GunnerBoy...
Anyway, there are many flaws in doing one-off games as I've mentioned with a rock-paper-scissors example...isntead of thinking of an overall season, how about we just look at each team individually and just compare the greatness of each, without actually considering how each team would square up against each other, because then tactics come into play.

Seriously, Frank Lampard is an absolute legend of the game. He needs to be recognised in some way eg. Frank Lampard OBE, Sir Frank Lampard or some kind of lifetime achievement award.

Thats fair enough but look at your team, you've thought about your midfield and attack tactically and chosen your players accordingly

btw i agree with scholes, as consistency will be taken into account Not sure what inspired you to think of 6 world class players, it can't have been from viewing Ant's sig.

Seriously here, on topic, we're picking the best team possible. Nobody is going to be taking in silly little factors that are associated with a league season. ''Oh I think Ant's team loses because Ronaldo was out partying last night, Cafu was doing charity work, and Hagi had an arguement last night with his missus''. BULLSHIT.
We pick the best 11 we can possibly think of. Two teams get drawn against eachother. It is a one off, all players fit and healthy, no suspensions and all that bollocks, just football. Feel free to say, ''this team will lose because they will not work as a team, every player is self centred'', because that works as a marking criteria. If someone had 11 Berbatovs on their team you can say 'Well you have all the skill in the world but no work rate or balance, so I think that team would lose to Player 2's well balanced team''. That makes sense. The true idea behind this game is to make the best team you can think of, and let the voters judge who would win a one off, FICTIONAL game.

Thats fair enough but look at your team, you've thought about your midfield and attack tactically and chosen your players accordingly Yes, tactically with regards to how they'd perform over several games, not tactically with regards to how they would cope against DaGunners' side, or how they would nullify Ant's attack, or how they would penetrate Kem's defence...etc etc...
I've thought GENERALLY about tactics and style of play, of course

I agree with that, but what if the player that chose Didier Drogba mentioned his big game credentials? Is that acceptable? Yeah, in my eyes it does. Players will get marked down for not turning up in big games, or being inconsistent, so they should be rewarded for consistency in big games.

Yeah, in my eyes it does. Players will get marked down for not turning up in big games, or being inconsistent, so they should be rewarded for consistency in big games. But how is that fair on the people that picked before now, and didn't consider 'big game players' after I said we'd judge it on an overall scale...
For example, Drogba is a much bigger big game player than Shevchenko, yet Shevchenko in his prime was a better player than Drogba...if we do it your way then every game is a 'big game' and Drogba has a massive advantage, and the person that picked him is incredibly lucky.
That's why teams should be judged on an individual basis. There's no need to picture an entire season, but teams should be judged generally with regards to how great a team they've assembled, instead of picturing a certain 11 players V 11 players, or we'll start hearing shit like 'Cafu would have Pires in his pocket'....

Theres going to be alot of arguements during this, i mean you think ronaldo doesn't turn up for big games but other people will say he does
