How so?

Seriously, Frank Lampard is an absolute legend of the game. He needs to be recognised in some way eg. Frank Lampard OBE, Sir Frank Lampard or some kind of lifetime achievement award.

Greatest ownage machine: Scholes. Absolute animal when he was a regular poster, I always knew I was in the right when he was backing me up, and I couldn't wait to read a topic that he was posting in because I knew he'd be tearing someone apart

And Gerrard 98-02 the 17th :wipeee:

But it depends which players suit you best, and which you consider important to your side.

I guess it makes sense tactically to pick Keane early, because you won't find a better holding midfeilder around, but still, Keane picked ahead of Henry & Romario..... I duno

Personally I'd have snapped Henry right up but Keane is still a top bracket pick for me, along with Vieira, Lampard, Scholes and Makelele from the PL centre-midfield stakes

Keane in his romp was much more than just a holding midfielder. He was Vieira mkII.

This is another one of those decisions between United - Arsenal that cant fairly be discussed atm. Just as Giggs vs Pires is going to end up the same way and with some fans even Schmeichel vs Seaman.

There's just no real point in discussing it because we go round and round in circles like dogs chasing their tails.

I'm not in the mood today after last night, still distraught, so there won't be much arguing from me today, can't be assed. But what I will say is Vieira>Keane. I'll leave it at that.
