So Alonso doesn't create?

Empty threat Stone.

PS. He's hardly a potential pick before you go off on one.

Seriously, Frank Lampard is an absolute legend of the game. He needs to be recognised in some way eg. Frank Lampard OBE, Sir Frank Lampard or some kind of lifetime achievement award.

Greatest ownage machine: Scholes. Absolute animal when he was a regular poster, I always knew I was in the right when he was backing me up, and I couldn't wait to read a topic that he was posting in because I knew he'd be tearing someone apart

Not very much. He gets the ball to those who try to.

And if Juan Pablo fucking Sorin and materazzi are Picks, Alonso certainly is. FUCKING MUG.
I am soft.

:hysterics: I hope I'm not in the firing line Dag... :(

P.s. I grew up watching Dixon as a kid and loved him. Why is it whenever I say something good about a footballer people think I'm hating the other person in question?! Just like Kaka and Dinho, people think I hate Dinho after that discussion, I think I get a little too passionate about players I like

But he still does...

Also, Gerrard is no Ronaldinho in the creative department, but facts are facts, and Liverpool do create tons of clear-cut chances.

Winner.

Roonaldo isn't on yet...so when Triggle gets on he may pick.

DaG I've seen you state many times that Gerrard is an average CM :deepthought:

Success is winning championships. It is nothing less than that. And when you win a championship - and we will - success isn't measured or accomplished by winning once.

I just looked back at the first page and saw this, he moved for 18m, not 29m.

P.s. Did I ever tell you I discovered Ronaldinho?! Back in like 2000, I was scouting for young talent in Brazil on championship manager, signed a little known Ronaldinho, and a few years later he was huge!

Was it really 18M? That's even more of a bargain.

All I know it, United were on the brink of signing him for 29M...how did Barcelona manage 18M? PSG rejected our offers of 20M...

£29 million? Nah mate

It was around about £18 million we offered to PSG. We offered Beckham to Barca but he didn't want to move. So they came after Ronaldinho. We upped our bid and so did Barca. In the end PSG accepted Barca's bid and Ronaldinho said I didn't really like the "whole English environment and culture".

It was £23m at the exchange rate at the time. If you are measuring it at today's exchange rate it's £29m because the Euro has got stronger.
