Seriously, Frank Lampard is an absolute legend of the game. He needs to be recognised in some way eg. Frank Lampard OBE, Sir Frank Lampard or some kind of lifetime achievement award.

Greatest ownage machine: Scholes. Absolute animal when he was a regular poster, I always knew I was in the right when he was backing me up, and I couldn't wait to read a topic that he was posting in because I knew he'd be tearing someone apart

I don't think you can really judge teams until you see the finished product tbh.

Cheers, great back 5 you have there. Nobody has a stand-out side for me though, despite the fact Ant has been over-hyping his own players far too much, i would say he's got the best side so far from what i've seen

Surely it's my job to overhype my players

Finally someone picks Crespo, he pisses on most of the strikers so far, I'm amazed at how long it's been...

He's not quite Batistuta but its pretty close, i was shocked when Vieiri (my 2nd choice) was picked before him.

Yeah i was going to pick Inzaghi, he was probably the better goalscorer but, having thought about it i think Crespo adds more. His height is invaluable to my side, combine that with Weah's pace and most defences will start getting very jumpy.

DaGunners, you've got to realise that on paper your team looks distinctly average. The English theme does you no favours.

Bull. I have a midfield that will win everything in the middle, loads of creatvity wide, and pace, movement, and lethal finishing up front. Add to that defender who live to defend and don't need others to help them do their jobs. I am in the top 3 teams along with Ant and Moe.

You wanted to trade Gerrard which clearly shows you have doubts. And you're right top have them, as Gerrard of 99-2002 was nothing but a good player...you picked a good player on your second pick, which is outrageous. The idea that Vieira and Gerrard, both athletic players, will run the midfield to the extent where they're totally dominant, is such a myth.

As for Owen, a top player in his prime, good pick, but Ian Wright you completely overrate - What did he do internationally? What did he do in Europe? Credentials are pretty important, and every single one of my picks thus far have them. All CL winners.

Your team is looking like a skint man's Ant and a poor man's Moe. At least mine will have an element of uniqueness to actually compete, opposed to fall short of the aforementioned teams.

i know the name of the game is talk up your teams to death but imo im not even top 3

honestly wright and owen up front isnt the best pairing and i think thats the only reason why you wont win this. if i were you i would swap wright for an aerially strong striker to get the best out of owen
