One of a decreasing number of players who is genuinely liked and respected by more or less all football fans regardless of who they support. Giggs is another example. These are the types of professionals younger players should aspire too. Unfortunately loyalty is now coming second to money...and this type of player is a dying breed.

Seriously, Frank Lampard is an absolute legend of the game. He needs to be recognised in some way eg. Frank Lampard OBE, Sir Frank Lampard or some kind of lifetime achievement award.
