just people in general scholes no one here well safc sayin he isnt good enough but hey its all good

and i disagree with u 777 i actually think Hughes could take us to the next level and in so many years challenge
Disagree in what sense? Hughes is the man to make you into challengers but that won't happen over night.

Not consciously! No Hughes is the right man. What I question is Ants belief that top players will simply join City because City will outbid other clubs.

yea i realised i was wrong when i looked up and noticed u didnt i just quickly scan through at times without checking properly.. but yea i agree with u some could depending on certain situations but i agree we need to make more of a name for ourselves first and with the players Hughes has already signed im confident he will bring real good players in just dont think they will be world class we have to be patient for the top quality ones

Yeah. Theres no shame in looking at youngsters who have world class potential, such as Moutinho, Hamsik, Veloso- but trying for Ribery, Kaka, Villa, Messi is just embarassing and detrimental because it takes time away from attempts to get realisitic targets. Man Utd looked at top youngsters and looks where its got us!

Not sure mate. Hasn't done so thus far, he seems to be looking predominately at good players who'll do a job almost immediately, which is a good idea but a needs a couple of youngsters with world class potential as well- he already has Ireland but a few more wouldn't go amis.

yea i totally agree.. but im not gonna complain if he manages to pull a coupe off with a world class player but i do doubt that will happen im just hoping he takes us forward quicker then 10 years like has been quoted i think it will be 2-3 years before top 4 then maybe 5 before challenging for the title

It'll certainly be interesting. I shant specualte, but I'm categorical in my belief that it won't be players of the calibre of Ribery et al.

i think they will get one world class player of the calibre of villa etc. but i wont think there will be a flood of players

man city have a surprisingly good first team, which arent playing to their potential, so i think if hughes is still the manager he would simply have to figure out how to get them to perform consistently
