No team in the league are as entertaining and as skillful as this Man City team are at home. I always love watching this team and I always love watching great talents like Robinho showing off his magic. Robby is probably the most skillful player in the league.

Agreed mate, we definately play the best footy in the league on our day, and just recently we've discovered this winning mentality at home which we really need to recreate away from home. We really do have the foundations of a great team, one that could win the league, but we just need a few big players extra and some consistency. If Villa comes in the summer and we keep this current side we can really become title challengers, and I don't give a fcuk what the United fans have to say about that. QF of the UEFA Cup here we come, WE CAN DO IT!

You are probably 3 years away from winning the league but you are making great progress and it would be nice if players like Villa and Yaya Toure joined in the summer.

Question, picture this team...

Given
Richards Kompany Chiellini Bridge
SWP Diego De Jong Robinho
Villa Bellamy

Do you think they'd come top 4? I think that side is capable of big things under the right management...

The full backs aren't good enough and Villa wouldn't even consider playing alonside Bellamy. If that team was real, which it never will be it would displace Everton and finish 5th/6th imo.

i think the full backs are good cause Bridge constantly in the media tounted as a real good player before Chelsea ruined him but its there speciality buying players and not using them to stop other top teams getting them

Richards is still young yet he has been linked with alot of class teams u dont get linked that often if your poor or not good enough so i think with the right management and afew big game players we will be alot better

but thats the thing cause people dont watch us day in day out and c what these players bring and only read in the papers or watch motd they think there all shit and i really think its down to all these different managers we had we never really been stable with a manager constantly there for use like Ferguson and Wenger have done so we never been able to adapt properly to 1 formation its always new things to learn which can be abit much when your young and tryin to learn to quick

Mark Hughes has done well in the transfer market so far and to be fair to him he has shown alot of ambition i.e Kaka almost joined.

It's a shame football is the way it is today. Next thing you know Bolton will be signing players like Luis Fabiano. I'd rather see clubs earn their status opposed to being handed it on a plate, and as for your obsession with City Homer, if they do become Title Challengers (one day), you will start hating them like you do with all successful teams.

Robinho treated the game last night like a training session and lost the ball frequently. Ireland was the star man again.

Seriously, Frank Lampard is an absolute legend of the game. He needs to be recognised in some way eg. Frank Lampard OBE, Sir Frank Lampard or some kind of lifetime achievement award.

I dont have an obsession with them like you say I just like them and want them to do well as they are the one club I know that are always great to watch and they never let me down. I dont hate Man Utd because they are successful I hate them for other reasons and even if Man City win the league I would be happy for them not hate them so stop telling me how I would feel as you have not got a clue. I would rather City win the league than United so it will be you hating them not me :)

You once had an obsession with Chelsea, but as soon as United became the dominant force, that fizzled out. You want City to do well but don't seem too concerned that your top 4 spot may be compromised should they do well?

Richards is certainly good enough ya mug, he's been our best player last few games and has all the potential in the world. Bridge is improving, he'll only get better with playing time, and I didn't hear people saying he wasn't good enough when he signed. Villa won't have a choice who he plays alongside, he's just a normal person who is extremely professional, it's not like he's royalty who will refuse to play with average players, especially when coming from a club like Valencia.

I cant deny that the more successful Man Utd have become the more I disliked them but I dont hate them because they are successful and that is a massive difference. As for the top 4 spot being under threat well I would rather face competition then no competition and besides no one knows what will happen in 3 or so years time.

That's the way Robinho plays, he treats most games as fun, wastes possession and chances quite a bit, but when it does come off it's genius and usually results in a goal or a big chance for a team mate. There is nothing wrong with the way he plays imo as the pros far outweight the cons. Ireland is amazing me with his consistency this season, he's the star man in most games, just an incredible player.

You cannot complain about the way football is today when you've constantly spent millions, record breaking fees for players, and basically made it the way it is today. All I can say is if it was happening to your club you'd be loving it, but since it poses a threat to you you're playing the moral high ground card.
