No, Scholes is English. You're from Liverpool.

Villa will most likely move to Barcelona.. Can't see him leaving Spain. Barca could off-load Henry to make room for him.
Sky's spanish football correspondent has said on ssn today that barca made enquiries in january, that villas prefered destination would be barca then real, city would have to come up with a helluva plan to convince villa that he can fulfill his ambition at eastlands.

City can trump any fee and package for the player but villa wants to stay in spain

He is another player that, if he does join City, will at this time next season be thinking "what the sheep am I doing here!!!!!". Just like Robinho!!!

Barca will only buy Villa if we sell Eto'o, and i think it's unlikely that Eto'o will leave, therefore the door is open for City really as there's no-one esle other than Real who are likely to bid.

Winner.

Time to pull out the PS controller, get it vibrating, and apply to schlong isn't it Ant?
LMMMFFFAAAAOOOOOO one of the greatest ever posts this forum has seen right there...!

If we don't sign Villa it will be because Barca got him, and in that case we'll get the 2nd best striker in the world Eto'o from them, or at least Henry! Big things are coming to City whether you like it or not and all you Mackems can quite literally get your gf's round here to get a taste of my schlong...

Just hours after David Villa’s agent, Jose Luis Tamargo, revealed to Spanish daily AS that he was not happy that Valencia have been negotiating to sell their prized striker to Manchester City behind their backs, he has now told El Mundo Deportivo that his client has flatly refused to move to the Premier League.

“My client does not want to leave Spain. He was very clear on that,” Tamargo disclosed.

“I do not know what kind of contacts or talks Valencia have had with Manchester City, or if there has been any agreement yet, but my client’s future will remain in Spain, not abroad. It is not a question of money,” he elaborated, before going on to add that the striker is happy to remain at the Mestalla.

It's a good job you can't trust a word that comes out of the press, 'cos this would be a massive blow. Villa would move to the PL if he had to. This is all just customary media work, representatives have to say things like this regardless of what's going on.

He would rather stay in Spain though and Real Madrid or Barca will snap him up.
