We won again on Saturday, taking our 15th point from a possible 15 and 12 from 12 under my stewardship.

Played bottom of the league and won 2-0. In theory we should have destroyed them, but they were resilient enough and my players weren't as effective playing against weak opposition as they have been in previous weeks. Still, a win is a win, and I told them before the game that 3 points was all I cared about. That all of the hard work put in over the last few weeks would be for nothing if we didn't win this one.

Anyway, we're on a fantastic run, and the next 2 games are at home against teams in the bottom half of the table. Complacency must be avoided but confidence breeds confidence, and we have every right to exhibit some of that at the moment.

Could be 6 wins from 6 for you then...how many games left and what does the table look like?

Seriously, Frank Lampard is an absolute legend of the game. He needs to be recognised in some way eg. Frank Lampard OBE, Sir Frank Lampard or some kind of lifetime achievement award.

Greatest ownage machine: Scholes. Absolute animal when he was a regular poster, I always knew I was in the right when he was backing me up, and I couldn't wait to read a topic that he was posting in because I knew he'd be tearing someone apart

We're in 6th place, unfortunately we're too far behind to break into the top 3, but a top 5 finish at this stage would be a dream. There's 9 games left, we're 6 points behind the team in 5th and we have to play them yet.

I've heard on the grapevine that due to teams dropping out of the leagues above, there's a chance we might be promoted if we finish 5th. That has to be the aim for us.

Will you be able to cope in the league above? Do you have any signings in mind?

Without any additions, and with me in charge, I truly believe we would be a mid-table side in the league above. We have already beaten 2 teams from that division in the cup this season. I was in charge for one week towards the beginning of the season and we beat a team 8-3 from that division, so I really wouldn't fear them that much.

Club of the Month could be coming our way. That would probably be one of the proudest moments of my life! haha

The season is finally over and we finished 6th of 16. During my reign as manager we won 10 and lost 2 (over the bank holiday weekend).

The main struggle I had was with player availability. I had to drain the resources of the reserve team, possibly resulting in their imminent relegation from their league, and I had to play some players in unfamiliar positions. Still, they responded well, and I managed to galvanise a strong and resilient team capable of playing Arsenal style football, and also of winning ugly.

The team that is finishing 2nd, we beat 3-2 and 4-1. The team that is finishing 3rd we beat 2-1. The team that is finishing 4th we beat 3-0 and the team finishing 5th we beat 5-1.

It's a shame I didn't take charge at the start of the season, because on form we would have won the league by quite a few points. Next season is going to be massive. I am already in talks with a '30 goal-a-season' striker among other players and we are tapping the FA for grants to improve the stadium etc.

I actually issued my first bollocking of the season on Saturday. It wasn't pretty. There's a table in the dressing room that now needs a new leg!!

Worked though. :D

Bollocks is not something i've ever really been lacking in. I run a company employing 25 people so i'm used to giving orders etc.

Tactically i'm doing ok so far, and my man-management skills are way better than that of our previous managers. I might struggle a bit next season, as i'm expecting to recruit several players that will undoubtedly strengthen our team and get us promotion, meaning that some of my regulars from this year might have to drop down a level to play in the reserves. Keeping hold of those players as back up will be a challenge.

I'm just waiting for a call from Norwich City now... :D

Why? If you keep up the good work with that team you will be ahead of Norwich in a few years anyway.

The way things are going at Norwich it wont be long before you play them :wipeee: you must be gutted though.
