You can thank me for giving it the all clear! :D

Nah, well done mate, great win. Where are you in the table?

Seriously, Frank Lampard is an absolute legend of the game. He needs to be recognised in some way eg. Frank Lampard OBE, Sir Frank Lampard or some kind of lifetime achievement award.

Cheers guys.

I believe we've moved from 10th to 7th. There is a slim possibility we can get promoted if we can win the majority of our remaining games... but one game at a time...lol

I'm going to continue to manage for the rest of the season, as long as the club and players want me to. I don't think i'm even going to play, I enjoyed the victory from the sidelines cos it was kind of like I outwitted their manager, and the players did exactly what I asked of them (and more) and that was a great feeling

The problem is, i'm not sure if you need a coaching badge or not? Any ideas?

No idea about the legislation side of things...

Let's hope they perform like that for you week in week out and it wasn't just 'new manager syndrome'.

2nd game in charge and another 3 points.

Changed things around a little bit this week. Unfortunately I had a couple of late call offs and it meant I had to tinker around with the system. This obviously had an effect on the team cos we never really got going. First touch was way off and we couldn't get the ball flowing like we usually do. At half time I was pretty angry with the performance but managed to keep a lid on things. I merely asked the team if they thought they had played well. Everyone responded with a "No Gaffer". So I didn't need to go into one. I just told them all to up their performance by 10% and we would come away with a win.

And that's what they did. We won 1-0, looked comfortable, had no shots on our goal and created a few good chances of our own. We still never really got going, but I was pleased with the response from the players at half time.

Next week is going to be a really tough game. It looks as though I will be missing 5 or 6 from the team that played last week. This means I will have to call upon reserve team players, some of whom I haven't seen play yet, so it will be a major challenge.

Keep us updated.

Try and kick downhill in the first half if you can. Establish an early advantage.

ROFL!

I've always been a firm believer in making it hard for ourselves in the first half. We've always been a "second half team" so i'd prefer to play uphill, or into the sun etc in the first half, battle through it and then let us take advantage of improved conditions in the 2nd half when the opposition are perhaps tiring.

It is an amateur team mate. They'd be mad to let me lose with semi-pro's and money!

I'd love to do it, but it doesn't pay enough unless you're in top flight football.

Well, another game, another win for TerryLegend the Manager.

We were facing one of the top 3, a team who could have gone top had they have beaten us, and they'd won their last 14 on the trot. I set my stall out exactly as I had 2 weeks ago, with 10 men behind the ball and a lightning quick striker. Well we were 1-0 up after 10 minutes and 2-0 after half an hour. They were a violent bunch, putting in crunching fucking fouls, swinging elbows etc, and the ref didn't seem to want to do a lot about it, but my lads got on with their jobs and we ended up winning 3-2. They scored a dodgy penalty and got another from a late, late own goal.

The morale within the club is sky high, and we've gone from being potential relegation candidates to potential promotion winners. I'm having a hell of a lot of luch though. I had someone pull out at late notice on Saturday... his replacement, a guy from our reserve team, scored our opener! Because of an injury to one of my players I stuck by a guy who I was going to drop this week... and he scored our 3rd! It's strange, but lady luck does seem to wanna sheep me right now.
