There's a lot of positives for us at the moment despite the ever increasing struggle for 4th place. First off, the mental strength and attitude of the team is infinitely better than what it was 2-3 months ago. Gallas and Toure are really finding form again, and will provide a great opportunity for Djourou to grow. Alex Song is starting to get to the fitness level required to really put himself about and did a great job today. And finally, we have so many of our main attacking talents soon to be available that, as long as our defence stays in form, we should really be able to put a fine run together to end the season. It's going to be an exciting few months ahead.

Yeh; you are much more solid recently but are now 7 points behind Villa, which in all honesty, is 7 points off fourth place...need to start winning against the odds.

Seriously, Frank Lampard is an absolute legend of the game. He needs to be recognised in some way eg. Frank Lampard OBE, Sir Frank Lampard or some kind of lifetime achievement award.

Greatest ownage machine: Scholes. Absolute animal when he was a regular poster, I always knew I was in the right when he was backing me up, and I couldn't wait to read a topic that he was posting in because I knew he'd be tearing someone apart

7 points lets the pressure off Villa for when they come up against the big 4 teams, so it is vital that Arsenal get on the winning track

A match where we had to fight and battle to get a draw.

Villa's 7 upcoming games

away to Everton
home to Chelsea
home to Stoke
away to Man City
home to Spurs
away to Liverpool
away to United

I wouldn't expect them to take anymore than about 9 points from those games.

Arsenal's 7 upcoming games:

home to Sunderland
home to Fulham
away to West Brom
home to Blackburn
away to Newcastle
home to Man City
away to Wigan

We should take at least 16 points from those games, leaving us level with Villa.

Chelsea's upcoming games:

away to Villa
home to Wigan
away to Portsmouth
home to Man City
away to Spurs
away to Newcastle
home to Bolton

Very unpredictable because there's a lot of pretty tough games that you'd normally expect them to win, but in their current situation i'd predict about 11 points putting level with Villa and us.

Basically in seven games time i think we'll see it ridiculously tight between us, Villa and Chelsea because Villa have the hardest fixtures, then Chelsea and then us. If Villa's form does stutter over these games can they pick themselves up for the fina run in? I doubt it.

Agreed. But I wouldn't go as far as to say all the lads were "simply marvellous."

We can't worry about their games. We just need to start winning. We haven't been losing though, which is good for the mentality...

Spurs - Made out to be a shit team
Arsenal - made out to be amazing

Bottom 3 lost - Helps Spurs
Top 4 won and drew - doesnt help Arsenal

2 points away from Relegation zone - Spurs
7 Points off Villa - Arsenal

yes ofcourse, maybe you should be drying your own eyes mate

As far as morale goes I'm proud of the way we played and deserved atleast a point, this is a big boost for the lads now and hopefully go on and play with that same type of performance.

We scored a perfectly legal goal that was canceled out due to a phantom foul.
