Forgot to add, a top class GK should be our number one priority in the summer.
I am soft.

Denilson will play with Cesc in a dual box to box role. The CBs will be Djourou and Gallas, although Wenger needs to buy a top class young CB to take over from William in a season or two. I see this as our squad next season, and its a very good one too:

Almunia
Sagna Gallas Djourou Clichy
Nasri Fabregas Denilson Arshavin
Van Persie Walcott/Eduardo

Bench: Fabianski, Toure, Walcott/Eduardo, Ramsey, Wilshere, Rosicky, Bendtner/Vela
How soft is that midfield, denilson and djourou aren't good enough imo djourou will be but not yet denilson never will, gallas is a spoon he should have been bombed out last season

Denilson is top class and will show so with more responsibility. Cesc is nowhere near soft, he is very competent defensively.

Anyway, I am off to the mall...

Cesc is ok defensively but the other three are next to useless, they will be bullied out of games like they are now.

See ya

Djourou is useless? LMAO, you haven't seen him play if you think that. Go back and watch his masterclass against your own club at your ground in 06/07.

Bye.
I am soft.

I never said he was useless just that he wasn't ready, one decent game doesn't change that he has made a number of mistakes this season.

Which game are you talking about anyway

He's talking about a game played two and a half years ago.

Seriously, Frank Lampard is an absolute legend of the game. He needs to be recognised in some way eg. Frank Lampard OBE, Sir Frank Lampard or some kind of lifetime achievement award.

Greatest ownage machine: Scholes. Absolute animal when he was a regular poster, I always knew I was in the right when he was backing me up, and I couldn't wait to read a topic that he was posting in because I knew he'd be tearing someone apart

denilson and fabregas have already proved to be a flop together this season.denilson isnt good enough to play in cm for arsenal, and no matter how many times you try to delude yourself they need a strong player in the middle to free up fabregas.

I think with regards to our midfield, Nasri has proved himself along with Fabregas obviously. Arshavin has yet to prove himself, and I agree Denilson and Cesc haven't really worked that well.

I think the nature of the game has changed and we need a ball winning tough tackling CM to partner Cesc. I would like a commanding CB just to add confidence and solidity to the defence as well as a more vocal and authoritative GK.

Absolutely spot on. Bring these elements in the summer, and hope to not loase key players, and we'll be able to mount a much stronger campaign next season...yep next season, as this season the best we could hope for is a top 4 finish and the only realistic chance of success is the FA cup.
