Well there was plenty of people on here watch SSN and the only confirmation was 2 hours later when Zenit announced a deal was done.
There's nothing to get over, I'm just stating clubs have the right to question the transfer, there's no harm in doing so.

Typical Biased Goon.

No Biased whatsoever, rather just bored of the same tedious nonsense surrounding this particular transfer.

It's done, the deals been made, the FA publicly made a statement saying they were entirely satisfied (which they would never back down on or look like fools). At the Premierleague meeting yesterday, managers and club officials/board members were all invited to enquire further. It's therefore, concluded, so why go on about it...it's like a broken record.

If being fed up with the same nonsense filling up the board all day classes me as being biased, then I hold my hands up. If you knew me then you would know I'm fair in my comments, and don't post extreme biased drivel like some do.

This really is my last post on the subject...not gonna wait my time on something done to death.

CONFIRMATION is part of the COMPLETION. COMPLETION is to be done BEFORE the deadline. THE DEADLINE was PASSED. Therefore Clubs have the right to annoyed by it.
I suggest you do some research before spouting out crap fella.

The rules state as I have said umpteen times on here before, that confirmation that a deal has been struck, prior to the transfer window closing, is satisfactory and that the paperwork doesn't even need to be submitted until after the deadline. This is because there is an in-depth process of looking into the paperwork, which takes time. There ave been plenty of deals over the years that haven't been announced until after the transfer window closes...again so I don't see the issue...neither do the FA!

Look at Benjani this time last year...that took 5 days before confirmation from the FA that they approved it. Did other clubs bitch about it then...nope as it was Pompey and Man City. Note: some of the managers that have a gripe with Arsenal feel the need to put their 10 pence worth in, and it's quite laughable, petty, and immature.

Even Martin O'Neil said he wasn't interested in it all, as he is mature enough and educated enough to know that there is no issue here with the deal.

The fact the FA made a special public statement saying they were entirely happy with the deal, and that at the Premierleague meeting yesterday, anyone who wanted to could have brought up the deal, but didn't, shows there is no issue here.

Yes Arshavin could give us the experience to lift us back into the top 4, which is why we got him in the first place, and yes, the deal has been approved by the FA. So get over it
Not wishing to cause trouble but according to ssn all paperwork had to be at the fa before 5, nobodys sure if that happened or not, not just a confirmation that a deal was in place. that was needed for clubs who were claiming that the transfer had been held up by the weather, arsenal had no grounds to claim that.

As you say it doesn't matter because the deal was rubber stamped by the fa, but you can understand other clubs asking what exactly happened

Good point, but I left the office at 4pm so I could watch the final hour unfold on SSN, and it's during that period that the correspondent clarified the point regarding the paperwork not having to be there before 5pm and that an e-mail stating a deal had been made was enough...as long as they received the paperwork at some point.

Also at 4.55pm he stated the paperwork had been delivered.

I suggest that as it was a Monday and hardly anyone was there, the extensive paperwork/contractural gumph would have not been processed until the following day, as was the case.

As I say with Benjani....and others...can take quite a while after the window closes, before the FA confirms the transfer...it's just not a big deal...lol

I'm fairly sure that was only for clubs claiming the weather had delayed the transfer, which arsenal can't claim. Anyway as you say it matters not because the transfer was cleared and he's officially an arsenal player
