They are within their rights to ask the question but if they make too big a deal of it then MON will be transpiring the wrong attitude to his players. Arshavin's arrival should be in the backs of their minds. Regardless, you have nothing to worry about if it was all done properly...

Seriously, Frank Lampard is an absolute legend of the game. He needs to be recognised in some way eg. Frank Lampard OBE, Sir Frank Lampard or some kind of lifetime achievement award.

MON is a shit manager.
He has succeeded at every club he's been at.

Just read a number of articles and statements and MON himself says he's not interested in this at all, rather a member of the board will just be asking details for clarification.

So MON himself isn't even fussed.

LOL...have a look through:

We won't challenge the legality of Arshavin's transfer to Arsenal, insists Villa boss O'Neill

Comments (0) Add to My Stories Aston Villa will be making no complaint to the Barclays Premier League over Arsenal's Ł12m deal to sign Russia international Andrei Arshavin after the transfer window deadline.
The controversial deal is expected to be raised at today's Premier League meeting in London which Villa's chief operating officer Paul Faulkner will be attending.

Sportsmail understands that the Arshavin deal was not completed before Monday’s 5pm deadline for two reasons.
Scroll down for more

Put your shirt on me: But Andrei Arshavin's switch from Zenit St Petersburg to Arsenal is understood to have taken place after the transfer deadline

Firstly, Zenit’s failure to submit their paperwork to the FA before 5pm and secondly because of what was described by one official as a ‘slight issue’ with the documents submitted by Arsenal.

Arshavin's arrival at the Emirates could significantly improve fifth-placed Arsenal's chances of qualifying for the Champions League at the end of the season.
No complaints: Villa boss Martin O'Neill

But Villa manager Martin O'Neill, whose side currently occupy fourth spot in the league table, insisted Faulkner would not be raising the issue.
He said: 'I would have nothing to say at this minute because Paul Faulkner has told me there is a Premier League meeting on Thursday and I think some points are being raised - although not necessarily by us as Aston Villa.
'I think there is going to be clarification about the transfer window extension. Absolutely. Am I concerned by it? Listen, I'm not.'
Villa defender Curtis Davies also played down the controversy surrounding the Arshavin deal.
'The Premier League would not have allowed the Arsenal deal to happen if it wasn't all above board,' said Davies. 'It is a matter of hours. It is not like he signed two months down the line.'

Cos they're a good club and it'd be nice to have another big side in the PL.

Birmingham will be a prime area for investment once this new railway is built, bit of a risk to buy Villa now though, it'll be around 10 years before the city starts seeing some serious benefits. Even then I still think Manchester has the best long term chance of being England's 2nd city - both on and off the pitch.

Winner.
