Seriously, Frank Lampard is an absolute legend of the game. He needs to be recognised in some way eg. Frank Lampard OBE, Sir Frank Lampard or some kind of lifetime achievement award.

Probably PSV for me. Dortmund have a massive stadium and fanbase around Germany though, so they're right up there despite their recent shortcomings. Chelsea are a small club.

I hope Chelsea and Spurs hit the shitter, which is entirely possible. (for different reasons)

Anyway, I am off to a 3 hour night Economics class :(

Chelsea have reached CL semis and a final and have attracted many great players. I don't agree with how it came about (money) but they did set a benchmark in English football. They raised the bar like it's never been raised before, and they were a top 4 club before Roman stepped in, and won the FA Cup in 2000...so if Chelsea are small, so are City.

Got to be PSV though I suppose.

Tight this one, I voted Dortmund but it's so close.... Chelsea are the only club never to have won the CL/European cup and they are despite recent success a small club compared to the others.

Psv and Porto are both IMO around 3rd best in their respective leagues, Villa are a big club but no recent success and hardly any European football.

Dortmund
Psv
Porto
Villa
Chelsea

psv and porto are at least the 2nd biggest clubs from their respective countrys, behind ajax and benfica, surely your not putting feyenoord and sporting above them mate

I know Psv are huge now but I would have thought Feyenoord were bigger overall. I don't know what I was thinking implying Porto are 'smaller' than Sporting in fairness so ya got me there!

If you say Psv are bigger then I'd agree, I just thought Feyenoord were a bigger club before my time.

Traditionally sporting and benfica were portugals biggest clubs but since the late 80's porto have eclipsed both, it is probably close between them and benfica for biggest club both having won 2 european cups.

Psv are hollands second biggest club, although feyenoord have won a european cup as well it's there rivalry with ajax which makes people think there bigger than they are

Don't think dortmund are a big club to be honest, probably as big as villa, chelsea are bigger than both imo

Porto
PSV
Chelsea
Dortmund
Villa
