Out of the above? :cleverclogs:

Seriously, Frank Lampard is an absolute legend of the game. He needs to be recognised in some way eg. Frank Lampard OBE, Sir Frank Lampard or some kind of lifetime achievement award.

Greatest ownage machine: Scholes. Absolute animal when he was a regular poster, I always knew I was in the right when he was backing me up, and I couldn't wait to read a topic that he was posting in because I knew he'd be tearing someone apart

Ajax, although Bayern are huge prestigious club aswell.

The legacy of the 1970's Ajax team is greater than any of Bayern achievements. They played the best football in Europe. That team can claim to be one of the best EVER.

Bayern: Biggest club in germany
4 european cups (including winning 3 in a row)
1 of only 4 teams to win all three european competitions

Ajax: Biggest club in holland
4 european cups (including winning 3 in a row)
1 of only 4 teams to win all three european competitions

I don't think you can split them

They're both close but the exploits of that Ajax team sways it in their favour IMO.

Their academy just spits out stars in every generation and good football is in the clubs blood, more than any other team in Europe IMO even Barca.

Well yeah but that is one of the biggest factors when deciding who is a big club in my opinion. If you are going on size of there support each are the most supported team in there respected countries, although as Gunnerboy said ajax are probably more liked.

Manyou, i understand what your saying about that ajax team but bayern achieved exactly the same in the 3 years after, all be it playing a very different style of football

The two are level in everything really, stadium, fanbase, success. Both are well off in these aspects. (some will argue Bayern's stadium is better, I say it's just more modern)

Football is the only thing I can see to seperate them and I've never seen an Ajax team play bad football, even now with not a great team by their standards they play nice stuff, there have been times where Holland have fielded 11 Ajax players for internationals. Bayern ATM are as attractive as they've been for years and years and I still think Ajax play better stuff.

Both massive massive clubs. Only Madrid, Milan and Liverpool have more European cups. That puts it into perspective.

I'd pretty much agree with that, but ajax' production line has dried up since there cl win in 95 imo and bayern currently play the better football from what i've seen on eurosport.
