I didnt see the game tonight but i've watched the goal highlights and wondered how he played? Cuz his work for Tevez third goal was brilliant and unselfish. And a decent ball for his fourth too. Can't wait til he's a bit more developed.

Also does anyone think when (if!) he finally scores his first goal he might start bagging a few more?

And how good can he become? Like in comparison to other midfielders (past or present)

You're watching ITV too lol :D

He looked good, I don't think he's ever gonna be world class, way too poor offensively, and not a big enough prescence in midfield. Definately a good player though don't get me wrong.

I have a lot to say about Anderson but it's late so I'll keep it short.

Showed amazing potential last season when played - mobility, fight, dispossessing, tackling, pace, sharpness, agility and strength that I have never seen from a 19/20 year-old. The technical parts of his game are decent but erratic. 99% of his shots locate the fifth tier and his passing is sometimes rushed and inaccurate.

But on the whole, a gutsy player, and if he develops the technical parts of his game to work in tandem with the physical attributes he already has, he can be a star.

He played well tonight and was surprisingly aware of Tevez's position for the fourth goal.

Seriously, Frank Lampard is an absolute legend of the game. He needs to be recognised in some way eg. Frank Lampard OBE, Sir Frank Lampard or some kind of lifetime achievement award.

I watched the whole game and Anderson was brilliant, every bit as good as Tevez. His usually hopelessly bad through balls were coming off, he was always available for passes and as usual terrorised the opposition and gave them no time.

If tonights performance is anything to go by, his 1st goal is not far away, he contributed well to attacks tonight and what a fuckin legend for passing to Tevez when he had his best ever opportunity to score his 1st goal. You've got to love him for that. :D
