WORLD CLASS. If he played like that every week he'd be one of the best strikers in the world.

Yeh, but he won't. In PL games against sterner defences he won't have that much joy. He showed what he can do in pre-season/August - his strength, tenacity, speed, ruggedness, power, quickfeet and terrior-like features shone through, as well as the awareness and good link-up play he showed tonight.

But seriously, up until today, it was shit pass after shit pass after corner-flagged shot. He doesn't seem to link up well with anyone but hopefully this'll be a confidence booster, seeing him somehow gain more playing time without disrupting Berbatov's and Rooney's partnership.

Sunderland at home Saturday, very interested to see Fergie's team selection.

Seriously, Frank Lampard is an absolute legend of the game. He needs to be recognised in some way eg. Frank Lampard OBE, Sir Frank Lampard or some kind of lifetime achievement award.

Greatest ownage machine: Scholes. Absolute animal when he was a regular poster, I always knew I was in the right when he was backing me up, and I couldn't wait to read a topic that he was posting in because I knew he'd be tearing someone apart

I have said many times Carlos Tevez is a top top player and I am disgusted how the fact that Berbatov is playing every game and yet poor old Carlos is on the bench when clearly Berbatov is a waste of space and does very little for his team.

You've watched 15% of United's games this season and it's clear Berbatov does little for the team? Watch the games before voicing your opinion

Every team needs a target man and goalscorer like Berbatov, so he needs to be in the side, but I have no idea why Rooney keeps getting in ahead of Tevez. I'm not gonna complain 'cos I'd love Tevez to move to City, looks doubtful he'll be moving to Madrid now with Huntelaar's arrival.

Rooney and Berbatov work quite well together so I'd leave them in there. And to be fair to Rooney, he does score 20 goals a season so he's always a good option to have.

Now I don't know how Scholes will perform after his latest injury set-back, but I feel him an Berbatov could forge an incredible partnership and understanding. Scholes' trademark passes are the knitted 20 yard forward passes he makes to players in advanced positions and there is no better player than Berbatov when it comes to exploiting the gaps in between the two banks of four. I'm intrigued to see how that works so if Scholes manages to regain his place (Fletcher is world class so it'll be hard), watch out for the link they forge :)

anyway, yeah i would keep berbatov and switch between rooney and tevez. tevez is going to get more goals whereas rooney would get more assists

Tevez was brilliant tonight and goals is what he needs to d if he is to have any chance of un-hinging Rooney, Rooney has a great link up with Berbatov which cannot be dismissed.

Tevez is different he just roams around and has no fixed position and there is simply not enough purpose in his game most of the time. He need remember he is a striker and has a duty to score goals, he did that tonight and I'm happy because I like Tevez and I hope he can prosper at OT.

Also Fletcher is not world class but people call Gerrard world class so why not Fletch!

in my view berbatov is playing because he IS a target man and for that reason only, if it were purely down to form berbatov wouldnt get a regular place, tevez has more about him him than berba, and proved that tonight, by the way scholes blackburn were near full strength tonight at they are a prem team

Because Gerrard single handly won Liverpool the CL and has been playing at high level for many years.

Tevez hasn't got 1 ounce of the ability Berbatov has!

Tevez is a good player but he might not be here next season. Berbatov on the other hand is going to make his mark on this club, his style is already rubbing off on the squad and he is changing the way we play, for the better.

sorry mate don't see much impact made by berbatov yet, whilst tevez will be and already is written in our history as a double winner, i like berbatov but he lacks desire, whilst he does have ability which i don't doubt he rarely uses it, i can only think of his bit of magic against west ham

I agree with Diego here and im afraid some people have very short memories but I dont and I can tell you now that if it wasnt for Tevez you would have won zero trophies last season and was probably Uniteds 3rd most important player over the season.

exactly, how many vital strikes did he hit, and was one of the successful pen takers in the champs league final pen shoot out, berbatov hasnt even played half a season yet and people are saying he's one of our most important players, ive one word for that BULLSHIT
