I saw this somewhere else the other day and I was shocked and horrified with some of the names people put down but dont worry I have all the answers so you dont have to listen to these clowns anymore. I believe the 5 I will pick is the correct choice.

David Villa In my opinion the best striker in Spain and maybe europe

Samuel Etoo Might not be on same level as he was 2 years ago but still top class

Sergio Aguero He really is a special player

Ruud Van Nistelrooy The best at what he does

Didier Drogba A nightmare for defenders

1.Eto'o
2.RVN
3.Ibrahimovic
4.Aguero

Stuck between Villa and Drogba for 5th, both so different I can't separate them. The top 4 I've got are clear for me and Villa and Drogba battle for 5th & 6th.

How has Torres gone from being the best striker in the world to falling out of the top 5 Homer? Your opinion changes with the weather :clown:

Ok...

1. Eto'o - playing for a great side but I was a huge fan of him from 04-06, ooo mama (as Homer would say), so gifted, so classy...but he's lost a bit of that class in recent times but his goal-record speaks volumes.

2. RVN - 10 goals this season until he was sidelined for ages a month or so ago :( Hope he comes back strong as he has been world class for 8 years. Shot - Net - what RVN lives for. Intelligent striker, poacher, instinctive, classy, machine.

3. Villa - plays for a smaller club (although a good club) than the rest and is a class act. Great movement, great finisher.

4. Toni - great goal-scoring record, real presence.

5. Ibrahimovic - gifted player, good goal-scorer.

I could be controversial and put Ronaldo and Messi in there, as if both were officially second-strikers they would still make the top 5.

Seriously, Frank Lampard is an absolute legend of the game. He needs to be recognised in some way eg. Frank Lampard OBE, Sir Frank Lampard or some kind of lifetime achievement award.

Greatest ownage machine: Scholes. Absolute animal when he was a regular poster, I always knew I was in the right when he was backing me up, and I couldn't wait to read a topic that he was posting in because I knew he'd be tearing someone apart

I like the inclusion of Toni there Scholes, he is a class act, and doesn't get the recognition he deserves, but I'm not sure if I'd rate him in the top 5. Good inclusion though.

P.s. I spotted how Torres has dropped now  , maybe it's something to do with what he said the other day where he felt he had been brainwashed into thinking Gerrard was good, and then we asked if Torres was still top 5 and he said not sure.

Ibrahimovich isn't even better than Lavezzi Scholes, let alone top 5 in the world.

My top 5: Eto'o, RVN, Villa, Aguero, Drogba

Drogba has only ever had two seasons in his entire career scoring above 20 goals in all comps...but he produces in big games to be fair.

Look guys I am a huge huge fan of Torres and I thought he was a god when he was at Atletico but at the moment he is only 5th or 6th. Anyway I didnt name the strikers in order but imo Villa is probably the best.

Did you see Eto'o's finish against Sevilla on the weekend? That was the finish of the best striker in the world on current form. He is unstoppable atm.

Instinctive suggestS it was merely a quick reaction...it was more than that. Superb finish with the outside of the boot.

no adebayor? i thought he was world class.. which means there is no players better than him... and youve just picked 5 there....

in fact im sure you said once... "i dont want eto'o at arsenal, adebayor is a far better player"

I would still prefer Adebayor to Eto'o simply because he is younger. And world class does not mean no players are better.
