I don't want Senna actually. Too old and I want someone more mobile. I still think Denilson will come good, although if Wenger would splash on Cana I would love it... |

Senna is a short term solution, but your fans want trophies now and don't want to wait for players like Denilson to come good. You won't win anything with Denilson in there, he's too inconsistant and that's not what you need alongside Fabregas. |

I can wait for Denilson to come good. I believe his talent. And if Wenger were to buy from Spain I would only want Fernandes, Yaya, or the kid from Bilbao... |

He doesn't need to play as an out and out DM. My footballing philosophy is to have 2 central midfielders who both defend and can facilitate attacks. Cesc and Denilson can achieve this, but they must develop a better understanding with each other. This comes with time... |

Denilson is one of the reasons why we have been struggling this season as Flamini is twice the player he is. |

i see your point, but they are both TOO forward thinking wengers philosophy is to get the balls forward quickly, and thats what they both do well, but wengers attacking styles means they just cant defend, which is why having one player sitting back works. i see your point, but if you want to do that, you need one player who is disciplined and will decided when to attack and when to defend. also look at gerrard and lampard, great at club level, put them together and they suck.. thats in effect what is happening with cesc and denilson. i just dont think they can work together as a cm partnering |

Denilson is a much more talented player than Flamini, although Flamini is a better player at the moment. But it took Flamini 3 years to get to that point, Denilson still has time on his side mate. |

they are both good at what they do, but denilson is not flamini, so expecting to denilson to do flaminis job is holding him back |

Im not bothered about talent because what we need is a strong DM who is powerful and aggressive just like Flamini and I swear losing him has costs us at least 7 points already. |

its not so much losing him that caused the problem, it was losing him, gilberto and diarra in the space of 6/7 months and bringing in not 1 replacement |

I think Cesc-Denilson and Gerrard-Lampard is a completely different kettle of fish to be honest. Cesc and Denilson both want to facilitate the attack, but they both go about it in different ways. Denilson likes to start attacks from deep whilst Cesc gets right in the thick of things and releases the ball quicker than Denilson. Denilson's problem is that his defensive positioning is hit and miss, and he needs to get a bit stronger so that his body checking is effective. He will improve, but he needs games. I remember when Cesc first broke into the team, he looked shaky defensively, but these short comings were concealed because he was next to Vieira/Gilberto. I am off to dinner... |
