He doesn't think a player of Bentdner's calibre should be wearing them. Is he right?

Would you be seen in these?

It goes with Arsenal's kit I suppose.

Discuss.

Seriously, Frank Lampard is an absolute legend of the game. He needs to be recognised in some way eg. Frank Lampard OBE, Sir Frank Lampard or some kind of lifetime achievement award.

By merson saying "Calibre", does he mean he is not good enough or he is too good to be wearing them>?

Merson couldn't pronounce calibre let alone spell it...

He thinks flashy boots should only be worn by top class players, and Bentdner ain't that. He's a lanky target man.

I agree with Merson...normally a player has attained the pedigree, before being flash, whereas Bendtner still has everything to prove.

I'm not convinced in his ability to attain the level of skill for a top 4 striker, and to me it just shows him to be an arrogant prick!

"Experts" say they are "specially" designed to improve their technique and theirall round game. So why wouldn't players other than top footballers want to wear them?

Bendtner isnt great, but he is far from shit. Will be a good pro somewhere, though I am not convinced it will be here...

Wearing pink improves your technique? No wonder Arsenal play great football.

Haha, Whether it's true or not I don't know but I'm not prepared to argue with the "experts" over how the Specially designed boots can improve your game  .

When Bendtner was 18 and on loan at Birmingham he was telling everyone he should be in the Arsenal 1st team rather than Henry because he has so much faith in his ability and he claimed he had no weaknesses.
