Personally i think it will be down to Man Utd and Chelsea, i'm becomming a bit over optimistic atm... i feel that with the fixtures we have left we can go on a brilliant run to the end of the season

it is important that we are not too far off the top before we go to Japan and then make sure we hit the ground running when we come back

Chelsea have looked weaker than in previous seasons, which may help us but will be our main rival

Arsenal are capable of playing very well but lack a B plan

Liverpool i feel have snuck a lot of points they shouldn't have this season and alot of players been playing above themselves, they are not as good as their position suggests and i really think that they are going to normalise in the next month or 2, 3rd or 4th for them

I was certain it would be Chelsea before this weekend. However the facts are that United have no more difficult away games and OT is a fortress, so they have a definite chance if they can close a few more points. Liverpool i expect to challenge, but probably not win.

This season however, it seems as thoguh every team has decided to come to top four grounds and park the bus in a way that has been rare in previous seasons. Therefore no result is a given, making it a lot harder to predict this year.

I will predict anyway:

1) Chelsea
2) Liverpool
3) United
4) Villa
5) Arsenal

Winner.

1.United
2.Chelsea
3.Liverpool
4.Arsenal

I'd stick a £20 on that, 'cos I'm pretty sure that'll happen. Liverpool will get nowhere near the title.

Jeebus and optimism is something I'm not used to seeing

We have 1 more what I'd call tough away trip, and that's to WHL. Win that and we'll be in a great position.

It's the game in hand, potential CC semi and World Club Championships that worry me. I'm very anxious but if we can win 4 of our next 5 PL games I'll be very confident going into 2009.

Seriously, Frank Lampard is an absolute legend of the game. He needs to be recognised in some way eg. Frank Lampard OBE, Sir Frank Lampard or some kind of lifetime achievement award.

Man. Utd and by a small margin ahead of Liverpool and Chelsea. it will be a title race that should have been put away by Chelsea or Liverpool but Utd come in with a late charge.
