United played much better football last season IMO. Berbatov has made things poor. Poor signing Scholes, no matter how much you love him. I am off to dinner... |

United at their best play breathtaking football. It's Arsenal that have bored me recently, struggling to score against Villa and City. One-dimensional. DaG, Boro 0-5 Chelsea...don't tell me they're rubbish going forward when they have the ability to rip good sides to shreds away from home. They've improved in that department under Scolari but are less resillient and gritty. I actually enjoy watching Liverpool games, have done for a while to be honest. Think the stick about their dull football is a bit over the top, though they are the worst footballing side of the top 4. United have genius, artistry and guile oozing from 4 players - Ronaldo, Scholes, Rooney and Berbatov. And DaG, you say you're not good enough because you lack consistency...well that statement really annoys me as it is almost a cop out phrase for not being good enough. You're inconsistent for a reason. |

It completely defeats me how people can not see that Utd are playing way better football than last season and Berbatov is the reason for that. Seriously it's getting ridiculous now, a bad start from VDS and Berbatov not running around frantically and all of a sudden Utd are worse off. Somebody please tell me what exactly was better about Utd 07/08 because i can't see it. |

We play 10x better football this season than last season and that is solely down to the arrival of Berbatov. Just a shame it seems only myself and MANYOU can actually see it. |

I cannot think of many games where I thought wow Man Utd were so great to watch they were amazing. Last season they started slow but got better but this season they will probably remain the same and that Manchester derby on Sunday was the most boring lifeless derby I have ever seen.

Precisely. We didn't play great football last season, we played 10x better football in 06/07 for starters. Rooney and Tevez partnered each other against Pompey x2, Villa, Zenit, Villareal x2 and Celtic away...we scored a massive 2 goals from those games and created little in comparison to... When Berbatov partners Rooney...Bolton, Celtic, Auburg, Blackburn, Everton, WBA, WHU, Hull, Arsenal (one goal, countless chances), City (ditto) and Stoke...amassing 29 goals, averaging 2.8 approx. per game, opposed to Tevez's 0.3 approx per game... The stats say it all, Fergie's selection says it all. |

Lifeless because we completely outclassed City, ask Ant... Boring game for you because United are that good, so dominant and the football we played in that first half was beauty personified. |

Uniteds football is easily as good as arsenals, the difference is that united will use 4 or 5 passes to score whereas arsenal will use twice as many. UInited have players with pace and power who can carry the ball the length of the pitch, Arsenal don't have that. As for the arsenal united game even wenger admitted that united had more than enough chances to win the game, on any other day united would probably have won |
