....which players would stay and which players would leave?

Seriously, Frank Lampard is an absolute legend of the game. He needs to be recognised in some way eg. Frank Lampard OBE, Sir Frank Lampard or some kind of lifetime achievement award.

Greatest ownage machine: Scholes. Absolute animal when he was a regular poster, I always knew I was in the right when he was backing me up, and I couldn't wait to read a topic that he was posting in because I knew he'd be tearing someone apart

if its just a one off the only player I could see leaving united is Ronaldo, though I can see him leaving regardless of our finishing position.

Imagine it's a serious decline that threatens to be more than one season?

Out: Fabregas, Adebayor, Gallas, Ronaldo, Tevez, Deco, Ballack, Cole, Drogba.

Torres would probably stay as he's a Liverpool fan...Gerrard was on the verge of Chelsea a few years ago so would probably want to finish his career elsewhere.

Drogba would be on a plane to the blue half of Milan before you can click your fingers. I don't think Fabregas would be on the move right away, he loves what Wenger's done for him, and I think Fab would want to get Arsenal back in the big time. Fabregas has never said he wants to move, only said a long time in the future, most of it is media speculation.

Fabregas is always talking about his will to win a trophy and hints at assessing his options if Arsenal fail to do so.

Fabregas would go without question, would he still be there now if Wenger wasn't the manager? No way

All it takes is 1 or 2 more trophyless seasons and he will realise, no matter how much he loves Wenger, that he isn't the man to lead Arsenal to glory in a league that Utd and Chelsea compete in and then, he will go.

Same with Ronaldo he would go in an instant, both Cesc and Cristiano are obvious fans of Barca and Madrid, so once things start getting bad they will go to those clubs.
