I said they have little character and it looks like im right.

Too early to tell but your prediction looks good atm.

Seriously, Frank Lampard is an absolute legend of the game. He needs to be recognised in some way eg. Frank Lampard OBE, Sir Frank Lampard or some kind of lifetime achievement award.

Greatest ownage machine: Scholes. Absolute animal when he was a regular poster, I always knew I was in the right when he was backing me up, and I couldn't wait to read a topic that he was posting in because I knew he'd be tearing someone apart

Roy Keane brought in a whole host of players, and good players of that...no idea what's going wrong. Top keeper, decent back line, good midfielders, and two very dangerous strikers.

Sunderland fans need to remain patient.

Roy Keane will hopefuly get the boot or leave himself whilst he still has some respect from the fans. 80m spent and we are utterly useless. He's taken us as far as he can.

"I ask myself every single day if I am the right man for Sunderland," he said.

Honest
"I asked myself this morning and I said that I was. Tomorrow morning if the answer's no we will have to look at it.

"I have to be honest in my assessment. It's not about what's best for Roy Keane. It's Sunderland football club.

"I might wake up on Monday morning and think I'm the right man. On Tuesday it might be different.

"I'm the manager of this football club and ultimately I'm responsible and I've never shied away from that.

"That's part of being a manager and that's why I take full responsibility for today and the run we're on and everything else."

keane has lost that fire that he had at united.thats why sunderland arent performing.the players see that he is mellow and they feel that they are no good

keane is a very good manager as proven by last season and the season he won the chmpionship (when they were in the relegation zone and miles away from 1st place)

I would have bollocked everything about Sunderland if I signed in yesterday. I managed to remain calm and consider things last night and I think we'll get over the mini-crisis we're going through at the moment. We have some top players at the club and they are no doubt going to perform at some point.

The news that Keane wouldn't spend anymore in January upset me but our squad is strong and i'm not too concerned about the players we have. If we can overcome injuries this is our best team:

Gordon
Chimbonda Ferdinand Collins McCartney
Malbranque Tainio Richardson Reid
Jones Cisse

That imo is a very good line up, especially when you find the likes of Diouf and Whitehead on the bench. We just need a little stability and IF Keane leaves, which is very possible then my greatest concern is that we turn out like Newcastle. No one wants the job and the players become unsettled. No Keane means no Cisse, no Cisse means no more top players.

Either way, I can see Roy leaving at someone point next year, probably the end of the season as I don't think he's the type to land us in it mid-way through a season. We must concentrate on a half decent finish, 15th again perhaps.
