Yes I think it is a bit of both mate but you gota remember both sides were missing great players.

Yeah, but it was a fairly experimental German team, Trochowski, Jones, Rolfes, Westermann, Compper and Adler don't usually start do they?

German were very lucky to reach the Euro Final, they should have lost to Portugal if the latter had turned up, they're really not that good a side anymore imo.

I didn't see the game, but conceding two goals from set pieces is the mark of a poor side defensively. Germany really needs some new talent.

Legend of the game.

That German side was nothing to the full side, and you can't compare a German side in a friendly to a German side in a tournament. In the tournaments they have such pedigree, I admire them more than any other nation.

you could say that about england mate, bridge, upson, johnson, wright phillips, carrick, downing , defoe and agbonlahor dont usually start.

i dont know why upson got man of the match.
