Carlos Tevez was man of the match tonight and rightly so he was superb and if Man Utd want to get rid of him then stuff them because it will be their loss not his. If Aguero Messi and co had been playing then it would have been 4-0 easy.

I'm glad Messi didn't play against that Scotland side, if that was a real match, the whole team would have been booked. Tevez was good, but rather wasteful imo. Lavezzi was my MoM.

Winner.

Same, but then who wouldn't want to play under the best player ever?

I liked his 4-4-2 system, it worked pretty well imo compared to the 4-3-3 of Basille as they have two genuine wingers in Gutierrez and Maxi.

Tevez is indeed a wasteful player but has the strength and tenacity to pose problems.

Seriously, Frank Lampard is an absolute legend of the game. He needs to be recognised in some way eg. Frank Lampard OBE, Sir Frank Lampard or some kind of lifetime achievement award.

Greatest ownage machine: Scholes. Absolute animal when he was a regular poster, I always knew I was in the right when he was backing me up, and I couldn't wait to read a topic that he was posting in because I knew he'd be tearing someone apart

It isnt just because he is the best player ever but he has love and respect for his players and he is like their best pal. On the way to the ground he was beating the wall getting his players hyped up and at the end he gave all his players a hug and showed he has a warm heart. Managers like Alan Curbishley are just miserable and cold hearted.

Curbishly is a legend and a great manager....much more respect for him as a person than Diego.

Men hugging men is pathetic anyway...after a friendly win against the Scots.

You baffle me at times

Curbs has poor man management skills and I would hate to be a player for his.

It was their second win in their last nine games, and Maradona's 4th on 24 games. I think he was right to have such a joyous reaction, it shows people he cares and helps build the team spirit.

I would play well if i knew i would get a hug from Maradona for doing so lol :)

Winners don't make out winning a friendly is a big thing. Melo-dramatic Argies.

Hey, I was pleased about the performance of some of the players and the fact it's Germany England makes it twice the normal friendly.

I was hardly ecstatic about the win though...just good to see Carrick and co. show their class.
