The defence was rubbish though, just commiting to tackles so obviously, Just asking for it really against a player like Ibrahimovic.

That was when he first broke onto the scene, there was no such thing as 'a player like Ibrahimovic' back then.

I just mean players who like to take opponents on in general, like Ryan Giggs not as skillful as Zlatan but loves to repeatedly take players on and when the opposition commit so easily to tackles on that sort of player the result can be catastrophic as shown above from Ibrahimovic.

It really is a sensational goal. He can be found guilty of trying too much at times but it sure payed off that time!

Ibra would be one of the top 10 players if he was more consistent.

He is in my top 10 anyway, no less consistant than Adebayor. One day he is good, the next exceptional. He never plays poorly.

As does Torres but you rate him as the best striker in the world.

He will always be known as a poor mans Berbatov. He has class but doesn't know how to use it like Berba.

He's like Ronaldo he just loves to be the man and like Ronaldo his selfishness is to his detriment.

The opposite, Berbatov is a poor mans Ibrahimovic.

ive seen ibrahimovic live, as he's good but no better than berbatov or torres or adebayor, because he plays in a different league people build him up to be a world beater, theres better players right here in the prem

I'd say if anything playing in Serie A is a hindrance to him as he is just guessed about a lot of the time, not enough people watch him enough to form an opinion. I'd have him in my side ahead of Torres, Adebayor and Berbatov. I'd take RVN and maybe Eto'o ahead of him though. Would love to see Ibra and Eto'o together.

I would wank over that partnership.

Winner.

Me too, that would be a dream. With Kaka just behind the two.
