Former Juventus and Dortmund CL winner and Portuguese international Paulo Sousa has today been named the new manager of QPR on a 2 1/2 year contract.

Is he the man to take them to the Premier League?

Know little about him but he has a good record evidently. Different kettle of fish managing a Championship side...I hope he fails.

Seriously, Frank Lampard is an absolute legend of the game. He needs to be recognised in some way eg. Frank Lampard OBE, Sir Frank Lampard or some kind of lifetime achievement award.

Greatest ownage machine: Scholes. Absolute animal when he was a regular poster, I always knew I was in the right when he was backing me up, and I couldn't wait to read a topic that he was posting in because I knew he'd be tearing someone apart

Dont know anything about him as a coach but he was a good player, won the CL 2 years in a row with Juventus and then the following year with Dortmund where they beat Juve in the final.

Managing in the Championship is very difficult id imagine in some ways it must be harder than PL management with the sheer competitiveness of the division.

Dont think he will make any waves tbh, apart frm when he's on the boat back to Portugal that is. ;)

Good luck to him as I always admired him as a person and a coach.
