Theo Walcott could be sidelined for up to 10 weeks after being carried off in agony last night with a dislocated shoulder to leave England in disarray ahead of tonight’s friendly with Germany.

yeah seen it on sky a bit ago, he's got a bit of a shoulder problem, bryan robson had a similar problem in the 80s, it kept popping out, he won't get it sorted out properly without an op and long rest, better to lose him for a while than for him to become injury prone

My 5th place prediction at the beginning of the season may just come true.

Walcott isn't that pivotal to Arsenal.
Scholes

Seriously, Frank Lampard is an absolute legend of the game. He needs to be recognised in some way eg. Frank Lampard OBE, Sir Frank Lampard or some kind of lifetime achievement award.

Greatest ownage machine: Scholes. Absolute animal when he was a regular poster, I always knew I was in the right when he was backing me up, and I couldn't wait to read a topic that he was posting in because I knew he'd be tearing someone apart

Walcott at the start of the season was potential and few Gunners were making him out to be their only chance of success to be fair. And rightly so he is just a seriously fast player, IMO doesn't have enough about him to be considered a massive blow.

As DaG points out all too often he can be replaced quite easily by Eboue who is also a rocket but he is stronger than Walcott.

Arsenal need consistancy and Walcott ain't that.

It looks to me like some of Arsenal's players are worn out already either physically or mentally, Their sharpness in their movement has dissapeared somewhat.

They were getting beaten to every 50|50 ball against Utd really, obviously me and Scholes are the only 2 people on the planet who think this but it happened again against Villa, They need a grafter in midfield to help them compete physically and to take some pressure off Cesc.

Arsenals problem IMO is that they have brought more width into the side this season with Walcott featuring prominantly and Nasri added to the team, Vela also offers this option.

Obviously more width means theres more gaps in the centre and Denilson and Cesc just cant cope with the teams who pack the midfield.

Last season it was the opposite and Arsenal lacked width and didn't have an expansive game but the midfield was tight and compact with Flamini doing lots of work and Hleb who was always there to be involved in one-two's with Fabregas.

It's a double edged sword really, Arsenal need more width but Flamini was the tough centre in that midfield, he really shouldn't have gone.

Last time it was his left shoulder, this time his right. We will suffer because of this, but we can cope. Eboue or Ramsey can do a job their, but if Nasri goes down we are fucked.

Bischoff needs to get to full fitness quick, he can get games at RW. He scored another peach of a volley, this time with his left yesterday for the reserves...

He's gonna be out 3 months. He is having the operation tomorrow according to Mr. Wenger himself...
