You can't pencil in your predictions and expect them to happen, football doesn't work like that. Liverpool look bloody good this year, assured style of play, good mentality and good system...but, the reason they are doing so well is down to hunger, desire, will. Remember that none of these players have actually been involved in a title race...some would say this will count against them due to experience, but IMO it will only help them. Saying that, I can't believe you are disregarding United 12 games in...yes our fixture list may hinder our progress but we have so much quality going forward...and our defence is likely to regain its form. |

Once you lose to Villa this weekend you will be 11pts behind Liverpool and Chelsea and that is far too much even at this stage.

Villa look very good and I cannot see them finishing below 5th...but hello...how can you possibly believe Villa will beat us? If you had any awareness of United, your most bitter rival for many years, you'd know we absolutely love playing Villa. I don't want to jinx anything but we should win the game. Villa Park is as good as Old Trafford for us. |

Yes I am well aware of Man Utds record at Villa Park but this is another game and a new challenge and after watching United this season it is clear that your weakness is at full back positions and with Young and Agy on both sides it could be very interesting. United have looked vunerable away this season and I believe Villa can get at least a point. |

Pretty good reasoning that... Let's hope the defence sorts itself out but it's pretty difficult with what's turned out to be an unconvincing goalkeeper I expect us to impose our superiority and with Rooney, Ronaldo and Berbatov in attack, we should create many chances. |

Brad Friedel always plays a blinder against United so lets hope he can carry on that form. |

Liverpool don't stand a chance, more chance of them coming 5th than 1st imo. Chelsea and United at the top again and it will go down to the wire, where United will pip Chelsea. |

Nah, Chelsea will win it this season. They are so good at beating the smaller teams. I don't know why smaller teams don't park the bus against Chelsea like they do against United and Arsenal. Chelsea would not have a clue as to how to break down a team defending deep... |

You think I want United to win the title?!! I'd rather see anyone but Liverpool win it, Chelsea would be good, Arsenal would be great. Just think United's strikeforce and superior experience will see them through.

Man Utd are more likely champions than Liverpool IMO. They have a great attitude but they lack craft and will drop stupid points at lower teams. It will happen, just because it hasn't happened yet everyone thinks Pool are nearly unstoppable. Keane is no goal machine, Gerrard has been average thus far so the way i see it, as soon as Torres has a dip in form or gets injured Liverpool will rely on Kuyt and Keane to fire them to glory, drop me out those 2 can't score late winners in every game. I see frustrating afternoons for Liverpool coming soon...... |

Didn't you say something rather similar just before the Liverpool game? Face it, United aren't the force they were last year. They were blown away by Arsenal and Liverpool and i wouldnt be surprised at all if you drop points at Villa Park. |
