The style of play has been joyous at times but I think we lack a bit of composure in front of goal on occasions. I think our defensive frailty can be pinned onto one man, VDS. He's been embarisingly poor and should never be allowed to play for Utd again. His form dipped at the beggining of the year and its got worse and worse.

I feel very sorry for VDS as he was a world class goalkeeper and the best we've had since Peter...but he flaps at crosses and is a big girl's blouse nowadays. Such a shame.

Seriously, Frank Lampard is an absolute legend of the game. He needs to be recognised in some way eg. Frank Lampard OBE, Sir Frank Lampard or some kind of lifetime achievement award.

Greatest ownage machine: Scholes. Absolute animal when he was a regular poster, I always knew I was in the right when he was backing me up, and I couldn't wait to read a topic that he was posting in because I knew he'd be tearing someone apart

He's becoming the oppositions 12th man, sentimentality seems to be getting the better of Fergie because both Foster and Kuzsack are now better.

MANYOU is absolutely spot on.

Elcule, hard-work is the last thing you look for in a striker and I don't know how you think Dimitar is responsible for our defensive frailties this season....

Changing right-back every game is more damaging as is VDS's presence on the pitch.

United are creating FAR more chances this season and that is down to the introduction of Berbatov.

Tevez's donkey work is much more EFFECTIVE than Rooney who usually hacks down opposition and frustrates, but Rooney is a much better footballer even though I don't like him.

Tevez is a POOR finisher Diego and his ball retention is not second to none - his shielding of the ball is second to none (Anderson comes close) but his distribution is far from perfect. Tevez is very overrated IMO.

i certainly don't think tevez is a poor finisher, although berbatov has a delightful touch his finishing isnt that great certainly not better than tevez, and berba loses the ball very easily, i know he's class but you need strikers for all occasions, i don't think carlos and rooney are that alike, tevez is much better in making space off the ball for an instance, whereas rooney likes to arive late coming onto the ball, for all three are vital in different ways as was cole, teddy, yorke and ole

VDS should now be at the stage where if he is out and Foster comes in and keeps clean sheets then Foster stays.

I dont think he should be regarded as the undisputed #1 anymore, Providing Foster steers clear of injury he should be given a chance he is has much to offer.

Kuszcack doesn't dominate his area and isn't good enough to be a #1 keeper at Utd.

I don't think that he should be regarded as no:1 fullstop, VDS is a liability.

Rooney is a form player..Tevez is far better IMO. Tevez have scored crucial goals last season to lead us get 1 point or 3 points in many games which help us get the title like at Liverpool, Spurs and Blackurn where was rooney in all the big games when we truly needed the points.

Yeah but as it is now, when he is fit he starts. This shouldn't be the case.

Dimitar is a much better finisher than Tevez...he's just not getting that many chances for two reasons -

He doesn't like to commit and surge into the danger area, and instead he sits on the edge of the box where he's rarely found.

Secondly, he's not shooting enough. It's not often I criticise a player for being unselfish but he has to have a crack when he has space on the edge of the area, which let's face it, is very often when he runs from deep and shrugs off midfielders in between the two banks of four :)

I like Tevez don't get me wrong, I'd just hate to see 30M splashed out on a player of his calibre, especially when we don't need him IMO.

Strikers either score goals or create chances, Tevez does neither. He would be a fine AM but as a striker he seems a little blunt.

Tevez is a good player but he's just not a striker.

Thats the thing, Tevez isn't suited to being a striker, or a winger or a midfielder......He's just a mad bloke that runs around the pitch doing his own thing, making tackles and running into opponents.

And considering how many games he played as a striker he should have had about 10 more. Seriously his conversion rate is appalling.
