Berbatov brings the best out of Ronaldo  ... right.

Definitely. Last season Ronaldo was our only real attacking outlet and the pace of him meant he was always ahead of the rest of the players and on his own up frnt.

Berbatov is now making us more of a passing side in the final third, everybody is involved now and Ronaldo is more involved in team moves insead of just finishing them.

Berbatov has made a great impact on the team, Ronaldo included.

Elcule having Berbatov running around like Rooney and Tevez is the last thing we need.

We have Rooney, Tevez, Park, Fletcher and Anderson thats enough headless chickens for any team!

Berbatov is different, he is calm and his composure is something Tevez and Rooney need to learn from. His composure has made things run more smoothly up front.

When we had Rooney and Tevez up front with Ronaldo we then had one of them on the wings out of position and therefore not as effective as he could be. There was also a lack of activity in the box.

Now when we attack theres red shirts everywhere. This is down to Berbatov bringing our team to life and making everyone involved, his linking up ability is fantastic.

I love Berbatov for what he has done to my team, no way would i go back to the toothless Rooney and Tevez partnership.

It reduces Ronaldo's effectiveness having Berbatov and like i said you may look "more fluid and silky" going forward but you're leaking goals and that is one of the key reasons imo.

I would love you to play Barcelona with Berbatov, Rooney and Ronaldo all in the side.

To be fair we had an iffy start defensively to the season which is far from ideal and the main reason for that cannot be Berbatov surely, dont you think VDS erratic form has unsettled the defence?

A solid keeper is essential for any defence, we dont have that atm. I think thats the reason the defence looks in disarray and most of our defensive errors have come at set pieces and VDS is almost directly at fault for all of them.

Would Berbatov's exclusion stop that happening? I dont think so.

I'm not putting all the blame on Berbatov, as well as VDS' decline you have huge centre midfield problems as well with injuries and the like, plus Rio and Vidic haven't hit top form yet, but i would certainly say that Berbatov's inclusion is one factor.

Berbatov has not been responsible for any of Utd's present problems, if anything he has been one of our top performers since joining and has given our attack a boost.

tevez is a must for united, he's a far better finisher than rooney, rarely misses games through injury and scores in important games, liverpool away(twice), chelsea(home) he hassles defenders, something they hate, his ball retention is 2nd to none, you can't bully tevez like other strikers and he's still very young and has years ahead of him, 30m a snip

MANYOU is absolutely spot on.

Elcule, hard-work is the last thing you look for in a striker and I don't know how you think Dimitar is responsible for our defensive frailties this season....

Changing right-back every game is more damaging as is VDS's presence on the pitch.

United are creating FAR more chances this season and that is down to the introduction of Berbatov.

Tevez's donkey work is much more EFFECTIVE than Rooney who usually hacks down opposition and frustrates, but Rooney is a much better footballer even though I don't like him.

Tevez is a POOR finisher Diego and his ball retention is not second to none - his shielding of the ball is second to none (Anderson comes close) but his distribution is far from perfect. Tevez is very overrated IMO.

Seriously, Frank Lampard is an absolute legend of the game. He needs to be recognised in some way eg. Frank Lampard OBE, Sir Frank Lampard or some kind of lifetime achievement award.

Like i said above, he is partly responsible. There are other reasons, but his and Ronaldo's combined lack of defensive work rate is certainly one.

We seem to be playing a more attacking brand of football this season.

I think last season we started off so well defensively and took pride in our defensive record throughout the season...this season we're not as bothered.

Yeah, that's certainly true. I think Fergie is yearning to see the sort of football of 99. However, i think this may be your downfall though :(

Yeh, football has changed since then and we won't be able to get away with that style of play IMO....it'd be good to be involved in a few twists and turns in a game for a change though.
