I really like Tevez as a player, he is a grafter and usually pretty quiet about it but i think he has been pretty poor for us since the end of last season... He seems to think he is Messi at times, trying to skin people but he doesnt really have the pace to do it and more often than not when he gets in the box he fluff's at it... he is very difficult to get the ball from which is his main quality but rarely do i see him do anything with the ball... i really hope in the next couple of months he really shows us something to make us think we need him but atm i have to say i am dissapointed with him and would much rather see Rooney and Berbatov starting with Wellbeck, Campbell, Manucho getting their chance |

Tevez works his socks off EVERY game, and is a valuable asset to Man Utd, therefore, I think it would be in your best interests to try and hold onto him. |

They should sign him, but won't. He'll be playing at R.Madrid or City next season. |

the roooney tevez partnership was immense last season, ferguson has gone senile and disrupted that this season, the main reason why they are 8 points behind liverpool

Joorabchian is a part of City now, and is the main reason behind the Jo and Robinho signings. I wouldn't be saying it if Tevez wasn't owned by Joorabchian. |

I'm not so sure I agree, although he is a striker, he also tracks back into defensive positions and last season his doing that has thwarted a vast number of counter-attacks (he's not afraid to tackle and win the ball back from his own half either)...plus you'll never see Berbatov track back...in fact he hardly runs forward the lazy tyke Trust me, he'll be snapped up in no time if you don't sign him! |

we play with two strikers and the best 2 are rooney and berbatov unless he out performs them, tevez doesnt deserve to be ahead of them he is a good player but i would rather spend the money on an eto'o or another fast striker, as to give us a different dimension rather than a rooney clone |

i know he will, like i have said he is a player i like alot but i just think that maybe he is unhappy or he has lost the attackers mentality... berbatov we know will unlock defences and make hard things look easy, my main critiscism of Rooney at the start of the season is he was wasting too much of his effort on the wings or helping out the defence so when we went forward we were toothless bc we didnt have any striker up front... when rooney had a good spell of form he was being greedy and making runs into the box... now he has gone back to what he was doing before... tevez for me is exactly the same except it has been a long time since i thought that bringing on tevez would get us a goal |

Tevez is too similar to Rooney so they both offer similar things but Rooney gets more goals, more assists, actually has a connection with other players in the team. Scholes, Berbatov, Ronaldo arguably our 3 most important players all have a good understanding with Rooney, especially Berbatov|Rooney that link up has made us a far better footballing team than last year IMO. Tevez works so so hard but he doesn't link up with anyone really, he just does his own thing which does us no favours at times. His awareness of his fellow attackers isn't great, he seems so busy trying to keep the ball yet he doesn't know what to do with it. He rushes things too much and as a result his passing and shooting is a bit sloppy. So will we or should we sign him? My answer on both accounts atm is no. Unless he shows everyone he is better than Rooney then I dont see the point in splashing out £30m on him. |

i dont want to insult you but that is the stupidist thing ever said on this board and there have been some stupid things said... better than ronaldo ... no better than rio ... no better than vidic ... no all 3 were more important to us last season |

The thing is with Berbatov and Rooney up front and Ronaldo on the wing...no world class £30m striker would want to join Man Utd only to sit on the bench...whereas Tevez wants to stay! |
