Italian football is far from shit, I quite like it...

Dull, ponderous and totally lacking in charm and that was when it was at its best! Seriously though, Italian football is a distant 3rd in relation to the EPL and La Liga

Italian football is too slow and too tactical.

I wish it was still on TV :(

I used to love watching it, the style of play is so calculated and fascinating, like a chess match. I also like the way the teams and managers are good with making the best of the limited resources they have, that's quite charming imo.

Winner.

Typical impatient Brit, a by product of Hollywood culture, wanting things on demand with no fucking about. :)

Seriously, Frank Lampard is an absolute legend of the game. He needs to be recognised in some way eg. Frank Lampard OBE, Sir Frank Lampard or some kind of lifetime achievement award.

That surprises me as your cultural knowledge and understanding is extremely high.

I used to like it years ago watching on Channel 4. That program that started off like gooooooaaallazioooo!

Some good players back then George Weah, Casiraghi, Singori (One of my favourites), Moriero, Zamorano etc..

But lets face it Italian football has gone downhill its tedious watching it, other leagues have evolved and become faster but Italian football has stood still.

Serie A is just 2 teams afraid to commit, passing the ball around waiting for that perfect moment where they can shock their opponents by actually attacking.
