My word do we miss this guy badly. I was so wrong in thinking we would be fine without him. He was such a big player for us. Its not his ability we miss, its the desire, the passion, and the toughness. I so wish we could have him in our team right now. I guess I will have to wait a few years until Ramsey is ready to play week in week out...

Vieira still remains the biggest loss to Arsenal of all time, Flamini ain't got shit on him and you've never got close to replacing Fabregas. It'd be an honour to watch Vieira and Fabregas in the midfield together at Arsenal.

He was such a great foil for Fabregas. I know Denilson is a talented kid but he seriously lacks the bite Flamini had.

He was a revelation last season and was as consistant as anybody in the team, which is what Arsenal seem to be lacking atm.

As it is now you've got Fabregas and Denilson, 2 lads that want to play football and there gonna be times where they get bullied around the park by more physical teams.

The intensity, courage, determination of Flamini was overwhelming for even the toughest of PL midfielders.

Fabregas has been a bit poor by his own right this season but Flamini's exit must have had an adverse affect on him too.

I admire your honesty DaGunners. It takes a man to admit they're wrong, luckily I've never had to do it :bait:

On a serious note, he is a big loss. He recently said Milan are better than Arsenal...we shall see.

Seriously, Frank Lampard is an absolute legend of the game. He needs to be recognised in some way eg. Frank Lampard OBE, Sir Frank Lampard or some kind of lifetime achievement award.

Yep, it was a BIG mistake in letting him, Gilberto and Diarra go...but esp Flamini! Our team has not had the same balance since, and we pissed about trying to find a suitable replacement, for which we signed a long term injured and unproven player in Bischoff...a sad state of affairs!

They could use Sagna's head as a mop and Gallas' tears as the liquid.
